I like it. Tried a couple of extentions but this one has 3 in 1! Its simple, dates can be set and its not to much. My website must be business like and I dear to place this extention on my site. Great work guys!

This looks like a great tool for making your site more interesting on the key holidays.

I was interested in Fireworks as a starting point. Unfortunately IE7 will not load the site with the module enabled.

Perhaps a bulletin should be added here for sites that may have the module set for auto enable and may not check the results. Their users will be dead in the water if they use IE7. Many people in the US still do.

I did not check the other browsers, they may be fine. I was able to find an alternative that works with IE7 for this year.

I will try the Halloween and Christmas next year.

If there are updates and/or revisions please post the URL in the summary.

Thanks.

Nice idea for "auto enable" also I like snows, but low customization.
Thank you

It really does what it says on the tin, after trying a few others, this one really stands out and makes your site have that Christmas feeling.

great mod, easy to install and setup up with either automatic or enabled options.

Thanks folks, keep up the good work.

If you have troubles with the snowstorm in IE. open: mod_yoo_holidays\snowstorm\script\snowstorm.js

go to line 70 and change "var usePNG = true;" into "var usePNG = false;"

Great mod. Hadn't any problems so far. Served me well with Halloween and will do the same with the coming holidays. Thanks
It does what it says. The snow graphics need to be a bit better. As the snow collects at the bottom of the scree the snowballs are squares. I've never seen square snow falling before.

As for browser compatibility that needs some work. Firefox it works perfect. In IE8 your entire browser freezes for about 10 seconds or so.
The snow renders ok in chrome and firefox, but appears as squares in IE8. Not much good really since most people use IE. If you can fix this issue - I would give it a 5*

I especially like how it piles up at the bottom of the screen like real snow-

I second the option to add your own gif -would be awesome- I tried to replace the bat image with a dolphin and name it the same (bat.gif), but it created bats with the dolphin and the screen grew and grew in height.
Please add this feature!
and Thanks again for the lovely snow :)

I liked this extension a lot. The bats and the snow were both simple and pleasing enough. Configuration is also a major plus: simple with - to my feeling - exactly the needed options.

But the fireworks... It makes sound (yikes!), and it causes an 'operation aborted' in IE7. If this gets fixed, I'll use it again.
Works perfect with Chrome but your sites chrashes directly with IE7.

It is fun but graphics are poor.

But it is the only one i found with fireworks!

this is the fist falling image extension I really like. I wish a date chooser. Easy install. But I found no documentation.
Publish the module to one of the template top positions

Easy install. Love the auto feature. Would like to see more options like falling leaves, raindrops, or maybe even a choose-an-image (where we can choose a small image from our media manager to use). Good job!
