All issues raised in reviews below have been resolved.
This little module is well thought out and very useful for anyone requiring an uncomplicated calendar on their site. It is simple to use and has just sufficient flexibility to meet most needs.
There seems to be an minor issue when using the latest version with Joomla 2.5.6 in that the whole webpage reloads every time the forward or backward buttons are clicked to change the displayed month. I guess that will be resolved with the next update.

I have downloaded this plugin and found it to be an excellent well written piece of software, easy to install and configure, but one issue is that I cannot use the module suffix class, nor will the plugin use the template default fonts. This I expect will prevent me from using the plugin and also may preclude others from using it, if it breaks the design standards. But that is the only issue I have and I do express my gratitude to the author for providing an excellent piece of software

MiniCalendar is a greate gadget, I does what the description say: "displays a calender". I had some problems with the php hoster not compiled in php with --enable-calendar but Chris from the development team released version 2.4 for Joomla! 1.5 and it worked great! Thanks, keep up the good work!
Great calendar that does exactly what it says on the tin. I too had a small problem with accents (in French), but contacted Chris who had it fixed inside 10 mins. Considering he is up to his eyebrows trying to get Rentalot Plus launched, this is truly great service. Thanks again Chris.
I'm absolutely loving this addon, as it is exactly what i've been looking for.
My only problem is that i am using it on a German website and when it tries to display the month march (in german märz), it doesn't display the special character "ä" correctly :-(

This is an Excellent small calendar that works Exactly as the developer described. I only needed a small current calendar to plug into a template position, and this module met my needs. The documentation provided by the developer was thorough and concise; I liked the fact that when I clicked the “Documentation” button, I was navigated to the actual documentation -- I did not have to wade thorough multiple links and advertisements to get to it. Even with my reviewing the documentation, it took me less than 4 minutes to install the module and to use it on my site. Thanks for a well developed and well documented module.
There were some minor problems, mainly due to the use of Russian language in Joomla! on my site. The developer has helped me and released an update that completely correct this minor issue less than a few hours! Many projects can only envy such an excellent response time. With such support, I can be sure that even if suddenly arises a question or I encounter a problem, I can not stay alone.
I must first start out by mentioning that the a couple of the reviewers should have read the "Dos" and "Don't" more thoroughly. That way, they would have done what I did ... contacted the developer FIRST before posting here about an issue.
Over the last day and a half, Chris and I have gone back and forth to come up with a now properly functioning and validating AWESOME calendar module! :)
The new 1.04 version that addresses both of the issues noted in the reviews is now available via the link provided here.
Again, many thanks to the developer, Chris. The "Joomlasphere" would be so much better if more were as prompt and conscientious as he :)

I was searching for a calendar just like this one for my site for a few days.. When suddenyl there she was.. Staring me right in the face. I installed it. It worked... well actually no it didn't after about 2 hours one of my sites members left me a message saying your calendar is a day off. Low and behold he was correct. My Jevents installation had the right date, this one was a day ahead. Perhaps they will resolve this in a future release, because it's a really great idea.

My name is Chris, not "They". When bugs are reported to me I fix them immediately. Luckily someone else did have the courtesy to report this little bug to me. Of course it has now been fixed.
Works out of the box!
