Unfortunatley I no longer have the time required to continue development of the Webamoeba Ticket System. I had been intending on creating a Joomla! 1.6 version of the component, and had made some headway, if you are interested in the partially completed code please refer to the SVN branch. You should also find some Ant scripts in the SVN branch to help create the JForm XML files and help with the overall build/publish process.

The system allows for simple configuration, easy layout control and is feature rich.
james has put a lot of thought into this component and it definately shows. I truly believe that this is one of those components, that is a MUST HAVE for ANY professional website.

My only suggestions would be to allow non site members the ability to use the ticket system, then it could be used as a Bug tracker of sorts. I believbe that a great extension to this would be to allow admin the ability to take any Q&A, and add them to a special list for an extended FAQ section.

+ Positive:
It is simple to manage and configure, works well, it haven't a bug.
Send an email (if you want) when open a new ticket, when replay and when close a ticket.
- Negative:
Ticket is only open or close, ticket not have a category, ticket is only text if you want add an image or bold text you must use the html-tag (ex. [b]text-bold[/b] for bold).
However the extension works well. Recommended for simple support use.

As it is right now, it does not do anything that is really useful... that is why i will not even rate it, I am waiting for V2 that seems to be a much better component that actually you can use.
Hope they will add some modules, to work with remository, or other repository systems, integrated repository and bug tracking, now that would really kick ass.
