It allows you to easily track the average ratings across multiple articles as well as place frontend modules for top 10 articles. This is perfect for my website which profiles musical artists and gives awards based on ratings the different artists received. It took me a long time to find a component this good, and it is well worth the money it asks for.
Also I should note that the support for the component is excellent; A short time ago I rebilt my website and upgraded a lot of my servers systems, which caused an error in the components reinstall.
I posted a support ticket and even though (unbeknowest to me) my support time has ended the creator still responded in less than 12 hours with a full solution that solved every issue I was having.
Excellent communication and Support for an Excellent component, who could ask for more.
Only dont like the pre-sale i ask different question and never got an answer. I think the know are the only multi-criteria rating extension and don´t need answer pre-sale question. The other think i don´t like was his payment system, i use paypal and i have a international credit card i need to register on visa to take a number for buy the component to many steps i don´t like the visa page but they force to use the visa page. With paypal you buy in 2 minutes but with this system i lose about an hour only for buy a $15 components. This was my experience The componet excellent but the costumer experience horrible
Upon asking for a refund I was told they don't refund for "oops I made a mistake." Then a later email stated they mention it does not work with 3rd party content extension. I am not using a content extension. I will say this guys response time was fast but still not worth buying this program.
I don't know where you read that AL Ratings could work with all third-party Joomla components using content triggers, this is not a feature mentioned in the product description here or my site, so your negative review is not true. The AL Ratings is a JOOMLA CONTENT ARTICLES RATING extension as described in product information and is not an extension that you can use to rate all the Joomla components in the world using content triggers, That would be impossible to achieve because there are thousands of Joomla extensions that are available and new ones coming out everyday, so i do not block any component as you mentioned. The AL Ratings extensions is designed to rate Joomla content articles.
Finally, there are many users using this component without any problem to rate all their Joomla content articles on their sites and they are happy with the component. The product information and documentation is clear about how to use the AL Ratings component and is available online at any time, there is also a demo site to check working examples.
The installation is super easy and the support is very good and fast.
I am very satisfied and i want to say a big thanks to the developer.
Support has been above and beyond. Response within minutes after submitting a ticket on the website. Developer was friendly and willing to help me come with creative ways to implement the script.
