- Contact management
- Sales task management
- Simple and quick document creation and navigation.
- Client and order history tracking
- And many many other valuable functions, necessary for sucessfull business operations
iCRM solution can be customized to correspond needs of any business. Let’s consider the hotels business example, from view point of operations management.
- Once client arrives the hotel, information about his visit comes to the iCRM system from the reception. Client info is entered and a new order has the “Client arrived” status.
- The next step is to make sure the client gets the room he needs and obtains all the amenities he requires. Order then completed with the necessary services list and then gets the “Service” status.
- In case the client has any complains which need attention from the hotel staff and cannot be resolved immediately the order may get the “Complain” status. After the complain is resolved the order gets the “Service” status again. It may be possible that complain resolution will need efforts of several different people at once. The task object will help to distribute the work
- Before the client exits, the hotel staff may ask to the client several questions, and depending on the answers the order may get the “Successfully completed” or “Completed with claims” status.
The information saved in order will allow more accurate customer serving when he decides to start booking the hotel room next time.
And the best thing: customer service process is available for hotel management via the Web, allowing silent control about what is happening with any particular order.

If you're looking for a basic non-commercial CRM that's easy to work with, I'd pass this one-up.
I'm an experienced Joomla/PHP programmer. I installed the non-commercial version with on problems. Basic functionality is easy to grasp. Views are pretty non-functional. For example, list of contacts displays based on order of entry instead of alphabetically (so, easy fix by adding an ORDER BY statement to the MySQL query) but then the list of contacts also doesn't display first names, which pretty much renders the contact list useless.
Yes, you could go into the MySQL and the view to change all of this, but after a while it's just a bit too much. Owner's probably did this to upsell to commercial version, which I did not buy.
If you're looking for a CRM that provides basic features out of the box--keep looking.

Thank you for the suggestions. The newer version contains sorting of elements in many places.

Automatically publishes their module on your site for all users to see. Also the component is accessible to any visitor on the frontend even though it stores client data. Only reason this rating is not "Poor" is because it actually does take some client info.
Owner's reply
the simple answer is: the component is intended to work from the front end as well, as you probably saw at the demo site :)
the module access is easily changed from the standard Joomla! module manager.
There are a lot of ways to provide the necessary security resctrictions to the data. You probably should better contact our support if you had questions how to do it.
