New Features for v1.5 - Joomla 1.5.X:
- more compatible with php versions;
- more easily for configuration;
- now you can define a url for offline state;

- use indicative standard image for each type of status, online or offline;
- use your custom image for each type of status, online or offline;
- use your custom HTML for each type of status, online or offline. Ex: "Hello, I'm online, chat with me now!"
- choice of window chat: popup or embeded;
- choice of the theme (color) of the window chat;
- alignment of images in the module;
- width and height of the window chat;
- you can put multiple accounts MSN / modules.
Do your visitors talking with you, or use as a Help Desk, for Online Sales etc ... using only your Windows Live Messenger client!

Attention:
- this module may can´t work in localhost;
- if the image don´t switch status, you must disable the cache (if enable);

I just installed and it works perfectly if you want in an embed window it works toos it's really great i've spent hours trying to find out an windows chat but i've found this and work with your msn accounts it's perfect for me!!!!!
TO ALL WHO WOULD USE THIS EXTENSION -
I am contacting you sincerely though I am incredibly indignant to what has just transpired this evening.
First - I am NOT a programmer. Just a beginner. That being said I am a Joomla/RocketTheme CMS PRO. I have taken all my sites and developed them out beautifully, professionally and used many, many extensions in developing sites for myself or clients.
I installed this extension and now I am in between rage and tears. I've taken several months to build up my site and make it look FABULOUS, INCREDIBLE. NEVER had a problem - ever - and have used many extensions on my site.
After installing this evening and customizing the default graphics for online/offline status - as I refreshed the page my entire site and almost all the modules were completely out of line and in incorrect positions! And no matter how many times I have tried to get them in their correct position they simply will NOT go and many of my pages are physically out of proportions. It's as if this extension contained the worst viruses/bugs ever and they have disabled and/or completely screwed up my extensions.
An example is I have my site navigation menu loaded in the right, 'sidebar-c' position. But after installing this extension even though it shows 'sidebar-c' in the admin page of said module it would actually be in 'sidebar-a' position!!! Furthermore this extension has infected my files in a way now where if I want the site navigation to be in the 'sidebar-c' position I have to edit to choose the 'sidebar-a' position!!!
Several of my pages the content is just squeezed in to approximately the left side of half of the page then the site navigation is slammed up against it in 'sidebar-b' position (even though the 'sidebar-c' position is listed) and there is blank space where it should be in the 'sidebar-c' position! I've been trying like you can't believe to correct everything FOR 4 HOURS NOW but I can't and I am so upset right now. I've received so many accolades about the style, layout, design, graphics and modules installed and people rave but now... it's just in ruins and nothing is working correctly.
The extension creator's website is dead and does NOT respond whatsoever. I'm SO DISAPPOINTED TO THE POINT OF BEING GRIEVED DEEPLY. I've worked my heart out on my consulting site and after all I've done it is now apparently irretrievably damaged and now if potential clients come to my site they'll take one look and just leave.

This is exactly 5:22 a.m. and I've spent the whole last night and this night looking for a free and non-hosted (in some unknown server) chat plugin or module for a website that I'm working on and in the meantime I started to think about something just exactly like this module. This is just great man! I almost cryed when I tryed it and worked perfectly fine. Highly recommended for live support for customers, visitors or whatever you want. Congratulations and thanks a lot!
Firstly let mejust say that i think this mod is awesome and very valuable to me.
However i can't seem to get it working on my blackberry messenger, the messages just don't come through (works perfectly on my PC). The reason for using it on my BB is that i want to have a 24/7 helpdesk. Let me know ifiit is possible or if you have any alternatives.

What a great mod ! Costumers are looking for best relationship and informations on websites : this extension provides those services at a higher level, and it's nicely customizable.
I associated an msn accompt with the soft Pidgin and it becomes really efficient : a sound makes me knows when a message has been writen on my site and I can provide informations to custumers at once.

When I enable the module my site crashes. There is no support on the web site. Delete module, is my only option. Too bad because it seemed a nice try.

Sorry, until then he did not put the requirements ...
PHP> = 5.2 and the module does not update the image when tested in localhost. About the support, as it says on the download page is via ==> email
