Sorry to say that nonetheless this application works it is completely useless. It does not show if the user is online or offline! it appears always offline or in callme status which is not the spirit of the buton on a webpage!
You could just add in the back end configuration the user name AND passwprd instead of user name only! I would expect just this!

This is not true. The Skype ID and password are NOT necessary to obtain your online status from Skype - only the Skype ID is necessary. The code that retrieves the status comes directly from Skype. Perhaps you should check if your site is caching the module and/or sign out and back into Skype. Usually this resolves any incorrect status and is a Skype issue.
