Totally simple to install and use, yet has pretty much of configuration. It's my final choice because of the multilanguage support - every message can be translated, and it has an inbuilt language file editor!

Excellent extension, easy to deply and configure.

This component installed and worked great but did not meet my needs as I was not able to change it so that the custom message came before the administrator message. It would also be nice if the option was available to show the admin message to the sender and allow them to change it if they so desired.

Installed not problem. Easy to configure and very granular control. Recommend this to anyone.

Okay I had to email quite a few people for a coach that needed to send out some information. I sent the email out to dozens but some of the emails had dashes and periods in them which the code would not originally allow. I called the owner and explained it to him and his fixed it in less than 30 minutes and I was able to resend those notes out to the people that it was intended. I like a product that works like this but I like it more when you can get help from the developer. I need to go back to his website and see what else I can use and purchase. I recommend this product and all products that he puts out. Thanks alot for your help and sorry for sending this notice out so late.

Good for a site like myspace where you invite friends to join, but can also be used to promote your site to other users or possible customers

i found just one problem when i try to install this component.. it is in line 57 of recommendfriends.php file. You must correct it to en-GB.php insted en_GB.php OR you must rename en_GB.php into en-GB.php. It`s stupid mistake but.. I give you the best mark :)

Very easy to install, in fact too easy. Took me about ten munutes and nine of those was spent looking for things not working properly before being satisified that all was well.

This is an excellent component, slotted right into the look of my site without any need for tweaking.

Superb contribution to the Joomla community - highly recommended.

Finally a 1.5 invite that is simple, user friendly, and does what it says. Works with sh404SEF, which others I tried did not. This is not a pop-up window and feels very integrated into the site and not a cheesy white window. Great component!

Got to say my only problem is that this guy does not make all my extensions. This one does what it says and more. Loaded and worked with no problem and you can configure everything on it, the lot!
What I did like about this software is that it blended into the theme as if it was written for it.
Just to mention the customer service is great. Fast friendly etc. One to watch in the future for other projects.

I honestly will have given this component 5 stars! The only problem is that it doesn't have a module or plugin to accompany the component. It will be hard to convince site visitors to look for and click a menu link before they can recommend your site to their friends. The site owner is the one that needs the favor of their site visitors, so the Recommend component should make it easy for visitors to recommend their friends.

So please come up with an accompanying plugin and module that will make this wonderful component a 5 star joomla extension.
