This module shows latest topics from your Joomla integrated phpBB3 forum.
You can select how many topics you want to display. Topic name is linked to actual phpBB3 forum topic while small number next to it (number of replies) is linked to the last reply to that topic. You can select whether to display number of replies, date, authors name or not. There is an option to exclude certain forums.
All posts are from different threads, i.e. if two last posts belong to the same thread only one topic is displayed.
Customization through css is possible.
What's new in 1.2.1:
1) Fixed "Cannot redeclare getnchars()..." error which appeared when showing several module copies in the same page (applied for advanced version only).
2) Fixed "Class 'JDate' not found" error.
3) New option to hide unapproved posts (applied for advanced version only).
4) New option to select which forums to include.
5) BBCode is striped out from forum text when displaying a part of post text (applied for advanced version only).

Tech support/feedback is very quick and actually I use another bridge of Phpbb3&CB, it works very well! I want to give a 5 star rating:)

Easy to use module to show the latest topics from a phpBB3 forum. It has a lot of options and is theme friendly. Languages supported: Spanish and English
This is exactly what I needed . Autor provided fantastic support in getting the module up and running!
Keep up the great work and thanks again.

I had to buy the Advanced version since my DB's are separate but I like the functionality. Works as promised tho' I had little knowledge of how DB's work.
One little thing I hope gets fixed is the full URL showing for hyperlinked text in the preview. I'd like to set this up so that people in the forum can post news items from a News forum and hyper link to the article but I don't want the URL to show up in the preview.

Great simple, effective module.
However i have included the phpbb3 forum with JFusion into Joomla. The link needs to be adjusted for this to work. Maybe it also has to do with SEF.
/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=709 has to become /viewtopic.php/f,15/t,663/

We just moved our forum from Fireboard to phpBB3 and needed a Latest Posts module to replace our old Fireboard version. I bought this module, installed and had it pulling data from my forum in just a couple of minutes. My forum is not in the same database as Joomla so I was happy that this module had the capability of working in that manner. Thanks for a nice module that simply gets the job done!

This nice module does everything that it is supposed to. I needed to slightly modify it so I dropped the message to the support. They replied the same day with the modified version. Thanks guys!

Very fine module, but it needs to have an option to exclude certain forums (e.g. now the threads from my Staff forum shows up on the forum).
Get this fixed and you got yourself a customer.

Thank you for your comment. I've just updated the module with the new version which has the ability to exclude forums.

Simple indeed, but works as expected. I liked the idea of having number of posts written next to the topic and also have them linkable. Thanks.
