In the midst of launching a new site, we encountered several show stoppers with the forum we had chosen.

We switched to Agora and not only did it solve our business problem - it gave us a number of ADDED benefits.

After trying and failing to set up a phpBB forum (too complicated, too many issues), I turned to Agora ... what a difference! Powerful and rich with features, and easy and intuitive to set up. The skins look great too. And the support is first-rate! Highly recommended.

I'm using Agora for a forum with a very complex structure and many different levels of permissions and it works very well.

A while ago, i decided to make a Joomla website for our Dutch XBox 360 Clan. We really needed a good forum for our site. I have tried different forums on my local server and eventually i decided to use Agora Forum.
It was really easy to install and configure, despite me beeing a total noob. I didn't know anything about Joomla at that time.
I also downloaded another theme for Agora, just to fit better with my Joomla template.
They even have many different languages for the forum. We use English and Dutch language on our site.
The support that i got by JVitals, is the best support i have ever got, so people who decide to use Agora Forum don't have to worry about anything.
The users of Agora Forum on our website are also very happy with.

I am a complete newbie, so ease and documentation is essential for me.
I have just installed the Agora forum, and had no problems at all. The documentation (FAQ) is extensive and easy, and helped me through the setup. And it looks like Agora has everything you need in a forum.

This is one of the great extensions here,i don't even need the documentation to set it up.I was done with the set up and installation within 2minutes.

What i couldn't figure out in CB and Kunena,i discovered without problem because of a documentation that is well written.

I needed an integrated forum for Joomla that would allow me to keep all of the posts and information from a huge bridged phpbb3. I really checked out about every available option and settled on Agora. However, "settling" is a misnomer.
Agora not only gave me a seamless migration it also gave me full CB integration with a few clicks in the admin panel. Now I am a hero to a large section of members who had a hard time viewing a large and complex forum within a bridged wrapper.
Agora has got to be your choice if you are seeking a fully optioned and fully Joomla integrated forum.

This is a great forum. Easy to install and configure. Very well designed for layout and usability. Easy of use and feature rich. Clearly the best looking forum right out of the box that I've ever seen.

I have tried different applications such as FireBoard and Kunena but did not find, what I was looking for. Now with Agora things are working perfectly well.

I have tried and tested almost all of the forum components for Joomla and found Agora to be the most feature rich and problem free of them all. It's easy to modify the original template or to simply download one to suit your needs. Support could be slightly better. However, my over all assessment is good.

This forum was extremely easy to install and modify, extremely easy to setup and configure.

And whats best, its the most stable forum i've ever worked with. It integrated with community builder swimmingly.

Thats what you expect from a Joomla extension: it does the job, you can customize it and adjust it to your objectives and, when you're somehow stucked, you have an active forum where you will most likely find the answers.

Agora Forum is without question the best forum component I have tried. It comes with all the features you could want from modern forum software and is easy to use and manage, including for non-technical users.

It is very flexible and can be easily modified to your sites needs. It integrates perfectly with Community Builder via a plugin. And finally, the support is second to none - I had a query which was answered on the forum within 12 hours by the developer himself!

Brilliant software. Don't bother with anything else.

There's nothing that comes close to this forum app. And lots of great support from the JVital forum (what a concept eh?). If you want to use an app with a bright future, then choose Agora.

Quick installation, easy configuration, very very good and very very fast support, EXCELLENT integration, simply the best.

I am using agora on more than one site, but still has some quirks, especially with templates, it would be mush easier if template could be simple like it is in joomla.
Main advantages are simple and easy usage, and great support from Hazza, you cant beat that.

But some advanced features are still missing.

It is growing fast and i believe it will beat even commercial products, but time will tell.....
