I installed and got board up and running quickly. The configuration interface is somewhat intuitive. Only one problem with changing the date format. Wish there was more official documentation, but the Frenzy Forum has been very helpful and I have been getting quick responses. I will stick with this extension.

I find it interesting that the small community of Frenzy can port fireboard and squash bugs a lot quicker than the larger official fireboard sanctioned Kunena community. I don't mean that as a slam, but only a challenge to get off their butts ;)
It will be interesting to see which way these forks of Fireboard will lead.
For Jomsocial users this program natively integrates Jomsocial with no hacking involved.
I'm darned impressed with the developer(s) and the answers on the site. He/she must never sleep :)

Your forum worked so well, I finally had to register myself to create this review. The ability for guest to post is a huge plus. Thank you!

with the release of version 1.5.7 beta Frenzy!BB is already now much better than Fireboard ever was. Moreover it is native. Plugins and modules become available. Thanks Blakey87

What looks to be a promising and full featured forum component is currently (version 1.5.1) buggy. Even the demo/support forum at the author's site isn't working properly and shows a number of errors. It looks like a lot of work has been put into this component but until the bugs are shaken out and the software has been updated to a new version, I have to rate it low. This is not presently a usable solution for a website needing a forum.

You are right, but Most of the issues are now resolved, so when you have time give it another try
