- This extension requires registration to download.
This extension does away with the problem of most bridges which dont offer double opt in to subscriptions. A Double Opt is offered when the user is created in PHPlist thus making the system compatible with shared hosts which have very strict anti spam policies.
Note that Joomla & PHPlist need to be on the same server.

V.1.1 : Fixes some issues that came in IE & Opera
I had been using this plugin since version 1.0 with Joomla, Community Builder and PHPList for our newsletters. Recent upgrades to Joomla, Community Builder and PHPList cause a problem. Not only were the developers very responsive in fixing the problem, but they even helped catch an issue in my CB user database with some bad user data! I highly recommend this plugin and this company!
I used this to integrate community builder for a client. Among other things, this allows for a registration page with a lot of attributes in CB, which you then map to attributes set in PHPlist and sync the list (you can then send targeted mailings via attributes in PHPlist). It just makes setting a multiple field registration much easier than doing it all through PHPlist and then trying to iframe it or hack the code into a module. I had a minor problem with sync into PHPlist, submitted a support ticket, and had the problem solved in a matter of hours. I even offered to pay for the help! Which they declined to take! Doesn't get much better than that. Strongly recommended.
This is what I had been looking for a VERY long time. I have been using PHPList because of the great functionally it has, but I had not been able to really use it with conjunction with Joomla's users.
