##### AVChat Video Chat Component #####
* Username/gender integration: users will have the same username and gender in the web site and in the video chat.
* Direct access to the admin area for Managers, Admins and Super Admins (or designated User Groups, available from Joomla! 1.6) have access to the admin area of AVChat 3 from where they can do all sorts of powerful things like kick and ban.
* Different features for different user groups, you can control the video chat features independently for each user group (Native integration with the Joomla! 1.6, 1.7, 2.5 and 3.0 ACL system).
* Seamless integration with JomSocial and Community Builder
* Avatar integration: the avatar pictures are automatically used inside the video chat (JomSocial and CB only).
* Access user profiles directly from the video chat: you can access the profiles of users directly from the video chat. (JomSocial and CB only)
* Simple install: it installs as any other Joomla! Component.
Separate components are provided for Joomla! 1.0, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 2.5 and 3.0.
##### Who's Chatting Module #####
Shows on the pages of your web site what users are logged into the video chat (Joomla! 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 2.5 and 3.0).

Shows in the administrator area in the status bar how many users are logged into the video chat (Joomla! 1.6, 1.7 and 2.5 only).

I didn't even buy it yet but the team installed everything (trial version) and I mean everything - all I had to do is create a menu pointing to the app and that's it. Chat rooms, video rooms, everything you could ever want. I asked for some weird modifications - i received full indications in 3 minutes, and everything is easy to customise. One of the modifications I asked for was a setting in the main Options window but nobody minded my ignorance, they politely answered me.
The support team is top-notch, very quick to answer ANYTHING no matter how stupid and the app is both simple and very complex. I'm using it for a webinar system and it's perfect.

Thank you GOD to give me the chance to meet avChat & avChat Integration for Joomla! After several hours on Google for find the most powerful videochat, i found this one and i can promise you it's simply the best one! The online userguide is very well documented, the support is perfect, i've got everytime a fast answer (maximum 1 hour), the team help me for instal it, so, what else ? This videochat have tone of features, the audio and video quality is perfect, the admin interface is full of options, i create my own customisation very easy in minutes, and it's totally intergated with my Joomla template... Style, colors, background, emoticons... I just want to say "BIG THANK YOU" to the team of avChat for create this crazy application, i'm 100% fan ! Don't loose your time to search another one videochat, you will never have all the power of avChat! I cannot find the right words to say howmany this component is perfect! Really, perfect! I downloaded the avconferece product trail version, when I emailed for support they replied and helped me set it up. I needed more features so the company suggested I get the AVCHAT 3.0. It was straight forward to set up, the documentation was great. When I got stuck I would send an email and get a very good quality response. I am genuinely impressed with the quality of the product and also the quality of support. Well done!
I bought this product recently and for me it has been a great experience so far. Support team was responsive, made it work in the next day (I have Red5 installed) and for now I only have good word about the product. Clean, responsive, good quality, although I wanted a little bit more, but I will change my webcam and see the difference. I also looked at the competition, but there wasn't so much customization and control. I really hope that they would keep up the good work and not let the guard down. Highly recommended !!!
We run Red5 in our server and AvChat does the job perfect, we need it to have a videochat solution only for joomla registered users and at the moment there are no better solutions, we use the top resolution settings for the video and we get clean and sharp video in our site. Te support has been excellent up to present time and always taking minutes to response. Great job thanks.
I started out with AVConference a few years ago and had some issues with it working. Staff were more than willing to help, and when they were not able to resolve the bugs they upgraded me to AVChat. Excellent product support!!

The story of me and AVCHAT3 started in February of 2011. We purchased a 25+ license to install into one of our community sites. It is running with Red5 installed on a Centos5 quad core Intel Server with 8gb of memory. The support forum is rich on great threads with helpful hints and tricks how to set it up in your individual environment. If i needed help besides that, the programmers and even the boss responded promptly to my concerns with helpful input. The chat is running flawless in my project and everyone loves it. Great tool for your extension toolbelt and also affordable. Definitely worth the money! Thank you
