Update 2009-03-23: Dynamic SQL Progress Bar type is implemented in version 1.1 where you can execute your own query which returns row count, later represented in Progress Bar.
I'm glad I found a module, that was so easy to install and configure.
Settings are quite extensive and you can get almost any visual appeareance, which is highly appreciated.
It's just that I had to use Modules Anywhere, to place it in the article. I wish there would be a plugin with opportunity to specify parameters directly in each instance of it in the article.
I would like to have following feature:
Possibility to add custom text to static progress bar numbers, i.e. 5kB of 356kB (I use it to display progress of translation of bunch of files)

It sounds like a simple and elegant tool and I love to use it, just... I can't get it downloaded! I get the error that the file doesn't exist from both the 1.1 and 1.0 version. And since I can't find a contact link on the site, I'm left with leaving it here...

Sorry for the inconvenience, there were technical issues with my server. Now everything is working, feel free to try it.

With this extension you can create ONE progress bar. The setup is simple, installation was quick and easy and all-around it will work if you need to show the progress of a charity's fun-raising event or similar.
This is a nice simple tool. That sounds boring, but actually I want my sites populated with nice simple tools that work well, look good, and are reliable. Tools like this let me focus on the building I want to do. This is going on more of my sites. Well done.
