Its a potentially nice little plugin.
Unfortunately the generated twitter URL does not work. I had to rewrite it into an intend URL.
Code needs some refactoring to make it even smaller.
I looks nice, however the presentation is imho too far off todays standard social media bookmark presentations.

Very easy installation and setup. Works without any problems on J!1.5.22.
With a basic CSS knowledge it can be placed any where in the content.
For those who doesn't like Sexy Bookmarks on the left can edit the very small CSS on the plugins Extra Style addition. Doesn't need to edit core css files. just use margin and padding in the correct way.
works great,
Thanks for the good work

First, I do love this plugin and all that it does. However, I have given it a lower rating due to the inability to display the plugin on non-article pages.
I've tried to use this on VirtueMart sites, by creating an article and then using a module to call that article. Unfortunately, something gets lost along the way and the plugin never pushes the code properly to a social network.
A module approach would make this plugin universal on any joomla component page. That would be fantastic. Until then...

Excelent plugin, very nice looking and easy to customize. Just a few things:
Bug:
I disabled the Newsvine button and it still shows, i had to disable the LinkedIn for this to hide. Luckly i didn't really need LinkedIn option but i think this may cause trouble with other users.
Recomendation:
- A E-Mail button will be great.
- A section filter, not just category would be SUPER USEFULL, i had to put all my 20 categories but 3 because of the lack of this filter.
But really great, thanks for the plugin!

As much as I don't like the choice of name (it scares clients away when I try to get them to use it), the plugin does actually look pretty amazing. Highly recommended!
I just need to figure out how to change the icons used in this plugin with different ones, I have some nice ones I made for another component.

It's a great concept and other people have not had issues. With that said, I have used this ext. with other joomla developers and we have had the same issues. (I use godaddy, she uses a variety of hosts.)
Shortly after install I had a malware hit on my ultra secured server. Godaddy was nice enough to clean it off after a bit of harassing (and finding they had a ninoplas.com malware issue on wordpress sites.)
I did not think it was sexybookmarks that opened the hole, but after speaking with other joomla developers, they had a similar scenario. I'd beware and be sure to upgrade immediately.
--> Also, once I uninstalled the sexybookmarks plugin, they still appeared in some articles. After picking around, I was able to hide them, but they might still be in the code somewhere.
Obviously others have had a different experience, but that was mine.
Outside of those issues, I loved the design and functionality of the bookmarks.

1. Having the users have the ability to input the article ID they don't want it to be displayed on would be useful, I know display if manually defined is there and inputting the article id, but In my example, I want the plugin to appear in all my pages except certain articles, or even categories. Making an exclude as well is a must.
2. Having a styled version for black or dark bgs would be also nice to have. Doesn't make sense to have only 1 stylized version when soo many sites have different color bg that aren't always white or close to it.
3. Allowing users to sort the order of which the icons are displayed (I believe others asked for this as well)
That's why I gave a 4 star rating instead of 5. Aside from my previous comments, this is definitely a worthy plugin to use for many of you web networking fantatics.
