This Joomla! comparison extension makes the process of the chart building very easy! It will encourage you to focus on content rather than adjusting columns and rows. No designer skills needed to put together pieces of information in the form of visually appealing charts with this fully fledged chart component and 3 default chart templates.
What you might want to do with Comparison Chart component:
*Adjust font size, color and type as well as color of columns and rows of the chart
*Make use of the hiding effect to collapse/expand chart columns and rows
*Submit information retrieved from a CSV-file
*Add optional description below and above charts
*Choose between any of the 3 default templates for the chart or create custom ones.
*Insert pictures, links, or other information right into the comparison chart tables with the help of HTML tags
*Let users contribute to your charts. They might want to select items to compare and create a new chart
*Highlight best/worst items related to selected parameters

This extension does an outstanding job of comparing items with flair. It has a very professional look and feel that is easily tweaked to fit your site.
It is feature rich. I really like the way the info is displayed. You have a list that shows the titles of the items you are comparing... when you click on the titles there is an accordian effect that allows the user to read more information about that particular item.
I would recommend this extension to anyone who want to provide an attractive representation of the features in any type of comparison. I am currently using it to compare various membership plans available to my users.

I was advised to try this component and got it. It is outstanding comparison component because it makes not pies and lines, you can make table with information to read and consider. this is exactly what I wanted. I also like possibility to extend charts with users' help.

I use this component for some time and i'm happy with it. Comparing things is simple with it and it helps sell to if you know what to add in charts. Easy to use and modify, like colours choice.
Hope to see 1.7 version here soon too, upgraded from the service provider site yesterday.

Purchased componate last week but still had questions,i went over to thier support team and its been close to 3 business days,excluding the holiday that just passed and still no support.Componate is robust and seems to be well coded however without adequete support and not even a proper demo-componate wont work for newbies such as myself.

It is sad to hear you are unsatisfied with our services.
I would like to say, though, that our support policy states that our maximum response time is two business days. You sent a request on November 27 (Sunday), I responded on November 29 (Tuesday). Due to Saturday and Sunday being off, we have a lot of requests in the beginning of the week. On Monday, we reply to tickets marked Urgent or having first priority support. As far as I can judge, you didn't have either.
May I kindly ask you to specify the priority as Urgent or ask us directly in the body of the message to assist you asap next time you submit a request? Thank you for understanding.
Just installed this component and started first comparison chart. I appreciate the tool as it is simple to use. Thanks to support who helped me immediately after I sent request to help me with installation. Everything was fast!
This component is definitely better than the competition and worth the outlay.
Clear layout and nice tabs and no issues with a Rockettheme template.
There are a few reasons for marking it 4 stars instead of 5:
It won't import directly from the client's Windows Excel csv export as it requires semicolon separated instead of comma or tab separated data.
Perhaps this could be fixed by allowing the administrator to set a separator character as a parameter?
I like the show/hide rows and columns feature, however would prefer if the row disappeared completely when the row is hidden instead of just hiding the text, leaving a blank row.
be aware that the page won't load until all tabs are created, which does increase page load times for larger comparison tables with multiple tabs.
Looking forward to the next iteration.

We'll fix the issue in near future and implement it in the next release.
To my mind there are many tools which compare prices and draw charts, but this extension helps you make your unique comparison with comments of your own and media files. This is great because people can see not just numbers, per cents and tables, but something essential in comments what can influence opinions and choices.

Just got and installed it, even made a chart draft! If you want to add a simple and neat comparison chart to your web pages, this tool is good.

It's little confusing about the way you can add images and tables, still it works.

The component does what it advertises, however it has very few features. It is simply a chart with ajax hiding functions, can't have images in the chart, the user can't reorder it any way. Component is not SEO friendly.
I think for that price it should have many more features.

Now we're working on fundmental changes for Joomla!1.6.
I use now 2 joomplace components. All are perfect: stability, funkcionality great! For me good demosite is wery importnt. In JOOMPLACE demo site have forntend and backend. I Can change any data for testing components before buy it. This is wery important. JOOMPLACE demo site is perfect: quick. Official site is NO.1 site: before buy this there are all iformations: in image, who sites use it, etc. In dollars are cheap. Because support is No1., components are No1., I think and I experienced all are really. JOOMPLACE anything worth buying what does it care about the customer and their products are perfect! This is the most important. I am satisfied with them. Today, it is not bought from them, I thought it would be good. I wrote to them to replace something else. Done, thank them. I'll take anything from them, because they are very reliable.

This is a very good extension that works as advertised out-of-the-box. Solid and with a fairly intuitive admin interface makes it easy to compose professional looking comparisons for whatever purpose. Should be useful for any ambitious web site. OSE Support is also very helpful, although the documentation could be more elaborate. And for the only weaker point: There could be more and easier options for customizing the look and feel of the charts.
I was a bit hesitant to buy this extension as there was a lack of reviews. Im so glad i bought it now because i have been having a nightmare with a table on my website. This extension just takes all that pain away. I submitted a support ticket for a problem I had and they fixed it for me within 30 mins, if thats not rapid support I dont know what is. Keep up the good work Joomplace.
Got this for my website. It's easy to setup and when I had a little problem with the extension (some other extension was messing about) they fixed it for me within a couple of hours. Great service and great product. Simple to use.
