I have tried several commercial joomla form builders and frankly they were a big mess. The resulting forms looked like they were from the olden days of the internet. The Ideal form is ajax and is great looking with very neat error handling. It is exactly what I was looking for. Customer support is excellent, but you probably won't need it. Thanks so much for this great little contact form creator!

I am not that good at Joomla, but after tryed a long time to get the database in Joomla to axcept the needed files I gave up. I e-mailed Douglas, told him about my problems and after a short time he had fixed it. It was a excellent service we got from Douglas and now it is working great.

I recently purchased contact enhanced after trying many different contact forms and registration modules and I'm glad I did so. It's very straight forward and offers alot of flexability. I also had the developer add a registration feature to contact enhanced for a nominal extra charge so the custom contact form also adds them as a registered user. I also had the developer modify his Ajax contact module into a Ajax register module - which is turning out to be a great investment. I have not received better communication and support from any other Joomla club or developer. You won't be disappointed here!

This is an excellent addition to the form components for Joomla! It's simple to set up and use and did exactly what I needed it to do. I was looking for a form that I could customize, that would send results via e-mail to my client and that would allow me to redirect the user to a new page or a page displaying the results. I didn't need to store results in a database and I did need a way to include the form within a content article, rather than having a stand alone page.

This component and the companion Contact Enhanced Plugin by the same developer did the trick!

I must also echo what has been said here about the level and quality of support provided by Douglas. I had a question about the plugin that I didn't find answered in his forum, so I used the contact form on his site. I received a response within minutes and a quick solution for the issue.

Just a fantastic experience with a component and plugin which I recommend most highly!

The perfect contact form. It has spam features, file uploads, and custom fields. Plus more. Worked straight "out of the box" for me. No issues whatsoever.

I have tried various contact forms for my J! sites and this one I always passed by because of the price. I bit the bullet and made the purchase and the component and the support have been 5 Star. Get this if you want an easily configured and managed contact component.

I'm very pleased to be able to recommend this extension. Over the last week I was reviewing all the Contact Form extensions and sent an email to Douglas with a question about whether multiple emails were supported. Not only did I get an offer to add the feature, but before I had a chance to say yes and even install the extension, he had added the feature. I then asked whether the Name and Email could be made readonly for logged in users, and again Douglas sent me an updated version. (This feature will be available in a later release, I believe).
So I am very pleased by the speed and quality of the support, and indeed the high quality of the extension itself. It's not a trivial extension, and once installed has detailed documenation available.
I now have a Contact Form for my new website, which I am very please with, and has all my requirements.

Contact Enhanced solves an old issue for me. Since I started with Joomla 3 years ago I have always used Community Builder so I could engage their registration form, add fields, mark them mandatory and the most important part, add CB's captcha.

I know there are other methods for captcha that have been around for a while but I didn't care for them, hard to read, tricky installs.

Now with Contact Enhanced I was able to add a few fields to the my contact form and the big bonus is you have a choice of three different captcha's to use.

Contact Enhanced is a component and plugin, the plugin must be installed and published if you want a captcha to show. The plugin contains the captcha settings and the simple 'Math Question' is the easiest to read.

If you want to use Re-Captcha and help with the digitalization of old books you need the two 'Keys' which you get from the Re-Captcha website.

If you want to use either of the other two captcha choices you don't need anything special just make the changes in the plugin.

The support from Douglas is excellent to say the least! He really cares about people. There is a small cost to help with his time and bandwidth costs. It's still open source!

This is the best component here integrating the features of Custom Fields for Contact Form and CAPTCHA.

For CAPTCHA, one has the option to select a built-in custom CAPTCHA or an option to utilize RECAPTCHA.NET.

This component does exactly what it says and it was exactly what I needed. I love that you can add your own custom fields and it has significantly reduced all the spam mails I used to get when the build in captcha. Thanks for a really enhancing the Contact component.

I was looking for a simple easy way to have CAPTCHA implemented on a comment form - this works exactly as advertised!

I did have problems getting the CAPTCHA part to work, but the author quickly resolved my issues in less than 24 hours! He answered my initial email within several hours.

I was also looking for a contact form component that had captcha and the ability to add custom fields...perfect! Install ed and worked flawlessly!

Only recommendation I can make is when adding new custom fields you should have a reference of field attributes for height, width, maxlength, etc... I mean the correct syntax. I do not know much code so having that reference would be a great help for some.

This is a great extension!

I think that what makes it great is that it mimics Joomla default Contacts manager.

It works exactly the same way, with the added feature of custom fields.

At the front-end, if you setup all the same fields it looks as if it were the default component! I value this kind of visual integration. No funny design from the developer.

With its simplicity it lacks some features, but anyway is a great compoonent!
