Contacts Enhanced is a contact component based on Joomla Core contacts component with a few advantages:
* Custom Fields: Now you can have as many custom fields as you wish. You can request whichever information you need from the users that contact you; Available field types: Text, Multitext(textarea), SelectList, Checkbox, Radiobutton, Date, Date Range, Number, Number Range, Multiple Files (ATTACHMENTS), SQL* ;
* Captcha Image to prevent robots to fill the forms, in other words, to ensure that the response is not generated by a computer, available captcha engines: ReCAPTCHA, SecurImage, MathGuard;
* Google Maps integration: Now you can easily add a map to the contact page;
* If the user is logged in this script will get the name and email recorded in database, preventing the user to mistype his email
* It will get your users IP Address, Browser, Operating System and Screen resolution
* It uses MooTools (Joomla's default Javascript Library) to validate the form;
* It is also Safer and more reliable
* You can set each form to redirect to a specific page when the message is successfully sent
* Integration with Newsletter system Campaign Monitor, MailChimp and AcyMailing;

This is an excellent component for a Contact Management Directory. Even in Joomla 2.5 it is well worth using as has a very professional way of contacting site users with a customizable form.
I had some trouble setting it up but Douglas assisted and made the whole job easier.
As Joomla 2.5 now has custom fields for registration I would like to see this product merge with the custom useres as right now you have to put the customized user information in manually.
That would make the component absolutely perfect.

Finally a contact form that is easy to install and setup with captcha, Google map and more. You can setup several forms with their own custom fields and not to forget the nice little feedback plugin that shows a 'feedback' or 'contact us' tab on the left or right of the screen on every page (your choice) of your website that you link to your form.
For me the integrated with the newsletter component AcyMailing is also a great feature that I am making use of.
The component also comes with excellent customer service, very prompt and very helpful.

I have used Contact Enhanced for almost a year now and I love it! The extension has many unique features for a contact form. The coding is clean and the CSS is attractive. It's "plug-and-play" simple to use. The only problem I've experienced is that the contact form doesn't use the template's CSS for the text fields and submit button. But I love this contact form so much that I don't mind manually editing it to match my template's CSS.
Ideal frequently updates this extension (more often than I've seen with any other extension), so make sure you are informed of their latest releases by subscribing to their e-newsletter.
I also have to give 2 thumbs up for Ideal's amazing customer service. They are very prompt at answering your questions and solving your problems. This is the best customer service I have EVER seen with a Joomla product!

I have used this extension on two of my sites for about a year now. This extension works wonderfully and I haven't even begun to explore it's full feature set. Any questions I have had were answered completely and promptly by Douglas. Updates and fixes are released regularly.
It's rare to find a developer that provides as much support and expertise as Douglas does. Not only is his extension a welcome addition to anyone who needs a proper contact form or simply a form, it fills a large whole in the contact forms category.
Any time I've had an issue, I've simply emailed him and he responds quickly and accurately. I was looking for a way to migrate from qcontacts without having to redo my contacts, and he whipped up an importer within a day. Outstanding!
I'll be renewing my license when the time comes as this is an extension I literally can't live without.

A fast, easy way to really spice up your contact page. Add all kinds of custom form fields and use the sidebar to provide related information to users. Love the Google Maps integration. It's such a pleasure to encounter great documentation and fast service. Had one puzzling CSS issue. Douglas got back me inside of an hour. He quickly spotted what line of code needed fixing. Took me but a few seconds. Presto! The component saved me many hours of fiddling for a small, reasonable price.
I first tried out the AJAX Contact extension which worked very well with little setup and effort. When I needed a more robust solution for a site I was developing, I again turned to Ideal Extensions for a solution. The Contact Enhanced extension is replete with features and works well. What really sets it apart is the documentation: an easy to follow crib sheet is available on the website that makes setup a breeze.
Most importantly, the level of support that Douglas provides is some of the best I've ever encountered with any developer, and the best among any Joomla extension developers. He has always answered any and all questions almost immediately and I highly recommend his solutions for Joomla.

I was actually looking for something simple (just to add an extra field without having to modify core code) and found it in CE! This component actually opened up many options for us we didn't think were possible (different questionnaires/forms etc) so I am excited to have found this.
The complete package only costs a few $$ more, but it's well worth it - the price is right and the support on their site seems great. Not that it's needed since all the set up options are extremely easy to find or are intuitive and if you're stumped just search through their forum. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for better contact (ENHANCED) contact forms over the default Joomla forms.

This is one of my favorite extensions, well worth the money!
I use this extension on all my sites, recently I had an issue saving new custom fields, so I contacted the developer through their website, and Douglas contacted me within minutes, suggesting that another plugin was conflicting, he was correct, problem solved!

A client wanted 3 different contact forms to be integrated with 3 different AcyMailing lists. I already figured out how to a integrate all forms to one mailinglist. One question to the developer about this 'issue' was answered within minutes. Now it works. Everybody happy! I can only recommend this wonderful extension to everyone wanting usefull automation in their websites.
This component is very flexible, has great features and very good support. I had a problem which turned out to be a problem caused by the Joomla editor. Nevertheless Douglas, the builder of this component helped me as long as was needed to find an fix the problem. You can't wish for any better support than this.
A while ago he also helped me out, when I asked for a new feature to be placed on the wishlist for the next update. He added the feature right away. Amazing.

Really good components are few and far between. For a component to be good it should function as advertised and should have good follow up support. From using this component for more then a year I can report that the Contact Enhanced Component has exceeded my expectations. The components works extremely well, and when there is a bug it has always been addressed in a day or less. As well, because the component is easy to use and its support is so good it has saved both me and my customers time and money.
