* drag and drop reordering of the poll options;
* choose how to display the results - with a pie chart flash graphic or the joomla default way;
* assigns color to each option with color picker /works even if you choose to display the results with the joomla default way);
* defining parameters (pie width, pie height, color of slices);
* show background logo or image under the flash pie chart;
* show number of votes for each option
* import the polls created with the joomla native poll component
Front end enhancements:
* view pie results as animated pie chart or as joomla default way;
* view all published polls in a table, with number of options and voters for each one;
* sort the polls by name, voters or number of options
Module enhancements:
* Shows options or shows custom text if you have already voted;
* Choose to let all users vote or only registered users;
Awesome - GREAT Job... such a great little touch!
Thank You!
Thank You!
This is a good tool for polls but unfortunately it didn't work with SEF activated, on my website. It works fine if I deactivate SEO setting in Joomla global configuration. So I'll be looking for something else.

Current version allows you to re-vote by clearing cache or using different browsers from the same IP so users can skew the results. Posted request for help in the forums with no answer.. Supposedly new version will be based on IP which is better.. Still the best poll module but dont expect it to be accurate until they fix this major flaw

Had issues with new polls not showing with the default poll.Then I came across APoll and what a breeze it was to install and configure. Great Job!

Works well and install is a breeze but the pie chart image does not show in IE7 - could be that I am on another computer as it works real well in IE8 on another computer. But as mentioned this is a great extension and it has flexibility to be added as a great addition to your Joomla! toolbox.

Works very well.
Just noticed clicking Results button in IE8 does nothing. Hopefully its not just me!

Very good module! Big thx to developers. I think it was a good idea showing number of voices in %? Not in numbers.

Very simple and efficient component with a beatifull way to display your polls results...
It should replace the standard polls component, which do not have anything special...

The best poll module. Easy to install, simple to use and look very nice.
Excellent alternative to the default Joomla module.

This little module is simple, easy to use and quite pretty to look at!
They just release 1.2.4 which fixed the IE bugs and its great. The support is brilliant and even if they don't have the answer, the DO get back to you, which counts for a lot.
Cheers and well done!

be nice to finish this great work, in the configuration of the poll, the component could be assigned to a background image link to the article which is hosting the poll, thus, users who see the results of polls through the link to the component, could also access the poll and vote!
.. as it is mounted you can see the results of a survey but can not vote on this because you dont know where the module is housed ...!!
Fantastic and easy = double fantastic!

I like the clean look of this component and module. Very, very nicely done.

This is a great alternative to the default Joomla poll. It was so quick and easy to set up. It gives a nice front-end look and I love the pie-chart view.
Keep up the stellar work!

Everything seems excellent, user can choose the color by clicking on the color-picker instead of manually input the hex value. The frontend flash animation looks very cool!

Apoll is a great extension for Joomla Polls. Looks very nice. I only have one suggestion: The ability to create polls with multiple answers, with checkbox instead radio buttons.

This is realy useful component and module. I was realy needing the enhancements it had to offer.
The developer responsed quickly to my email for support.
It is an young component and has got some issues to be solved but I expect great future and once again great job.

Excellent extension. I think it’s a more flexible and professional way for displaying the polls results. The Default Layout it’s very useful if you need to run multiple polls at the same time. Would be even better if designed without tables... I´ve made a Portuguese translation and I’m sending it to developers.
Sorry my English

Fast reply from developer. Nice layout and easy to translate.
However, some problems with allow_call_time_pass_reference and php.ini probably that I have no chance to change (no acceess to php.ini). Thus, error message when looking at results. No solution yet...

Component and module installed in seconds. It takes another second to find out which field does what and there you are!
You need to create new poll (no import from the native poll component), but this extra effort is well justified by the rich properties you can assign to the poll in the backend.
All in all, this piece of work adds a great touch of liveliness to any site.
Support by developer is amazing - replied within minutes with detailed explanation of the issue I had raised and proposed a neat solution.
I find Apoll simple, yet rich and varied in terms of what you can do with it. I'd recommend it as an addition to any Joomla installation.
