Installed and looked good but the input was not sanitized causing quizzes to give wrong answers if there was a space after the question or if there was a ' in the question. I've moved on to another quiz component before the release of 1.4.1. Not even going to bother after seeing how many versions have the same bugs.

I've just tested apostrophe in a question and space after a question in the current version BF Quiz v1.4.2 and there is no problem.
If anyone does find an issue with the current version, please report it in our support forum or send me an email tim __at__ tamlyncreative.com.au
BF Quiz v1.4.x was a major release that fixed all the known issues in the previous versions including data sanitization, as well as introducing a number of frequently requested features such as random questions. Also a lot of the code was rewritten to improve code quality and other improvements such as the use of Eclipse IDE with SVN to version control the source. We've also adopted the practice of allowing others to beta test new versions prior to general release, so the release cycle is somewhat slower than last year, however the quality improvements make it all worthwhile.
The last major release was in December 2009. There was a minor release in May 2010 to address a specific security issue, but this was never intended to address other issues. I think your comment about issues spanning multiple versions is unfair, as all issues reported since 1.3.0 were fixed in 1.4.x.
I'd also like to point out that all updates are free, there are no subscriptions or expiry dates, so you will benefit from all future enhancements and fixes.

Had some problems with the program, but after some tweaking at there end - and talking back and forth from emails to the online forums got my problems solved..
Tim takes the extra time to help me get my Online Quiz up and running.. Very good company to deal with if you are looking for a Quiz program, and well worth the $60 it was to purchase it..

Great quiz, super support from Tim. Easy install.
Had some problems with the trial version in relation to the template I was using, which Tim found out. Installed the full version and that, indeed, ran perfect.
So, if your trial doesn't function, contact Tim, don't give up.

I tried the program for a personality type quiz, and it was just what I needed. When I ran into an issue that was totally all my fault, Tim got back to me within 5 minutes!! My problem was fixed and I'm very pleased and impressed with BF softwares.
Incredible support and ease of use is SO important in a software, especially an extension, and if you're looking for both then definitely support this software.

This component does excactly what it says.
I have tried some of the free quiz components and they are a mess compared to this. The few dollars this component cost me was nothing compared to the time I saved on setting it up.
I had a few things I wanted to change about how it displays the results and the support from Tim was great. Within 12-15 messages back and forward (this within 20-30 mins!!) I had it completely as I wanted.
The styling is easy to edit with the CSS file and Firebug.
I can highly recommend this module as it is by far the best for Jommla at the moment.

I bought the BF Quiz solution to make a Personality Test (a complex one) and had few troubles with a little bug, but the support I had from Tim was awesome. I'm a brazilian guy, and the distance wans't a problem. The fix to the problem came so fast that I couldn't believe. The Tamlyn's guys were very interested on helping.

The free trial version is essentially full feature except limited in the volume that can be processed, which makes much sense.
All important features are shown in the included demo. And everything works exactly as advertised - within minutes.
Upgrading to "real" version was painless and the only snags I hit were my own doing.
With top rated support, my problems were resolved overnight.
