Option to deselect uncategorized articles is ignored. All articles on my site end up with commenting, and that's not what I want. I just want some articles to be commented on, not all. Thank you, though.

Spent several hours trying to get a different comment solution to work - gave up - found yours and bingo, simple as... THANK YOU.

I have carefully downloaded the file "rdbs_comment.zip" together with the pdf support file.
I have observed with great pleasure that the zip file was able to install not only one unique file but two (the component and the plugin). (I have never understood why, most of the time, in Joomla, it is necessary to download and install several files, but I suppose it is a common usage coming from Linux...
Everythings came fairly until page 13 : "choose the article". At that time, It must appears, at the end of the choosen article the magic sentence "(0) comment. "Add a Comment here". Well. It is not the case for me for none of my articles despite the fact that I have set the comment at "yes" for all the categories and all the sections...
Going up to the end of the pdf, I have seen (but not really understood) that there were a list of "components" (a name given by the author to php files). One of these file named "addcomment_php" was supposed to be moved to the template directory of my site. What I have carefully done... without any result.
I suppose that I have missed to do some fundamental thing... But at the present time, I must say that I am very disappointed and cannot recommend to others such an extension. Sorry...

I have tried all the popular plugins listed in this segment. But none of them worked.

This one is really working for me and a great component.

I've tried almost every extension in this category, one has compatibility problem with one custom extension, one other with the sef, one other with mootools and stuff....
Today I checked again... and I found a new one... installed, activated, perfectly working... Thank you sooooo much!!! It needs some improving to fit exactly my webpage but actually it does the job!!!
