Just in case someone was struggling to get the JComments "Read More" link working on articles other than the first article in blog layout, apparently JComments and AutoReadMore are not compatible in that regard. Not sure why it still works on the first article in blog layout, and not the remaining articles. Anyway, brilliant component, thanks for it.
Thank you for your recommendation but JComments 2.2 already has Report to administrator feature. It allows to site visitors send reports to administrator about comment's content. In next version I'll add ability to unpublish comments after N reports.
Many applications are well done but can become abandoned by busy devs whoa re volunteering their time and energies; this is definitey not the case here! I was in a bind and Serge immediately came to my rescue and figured out quickly what my issue was (and it was my own fault, of course). I can't thank him enough for his kindness.
The comments system is one of (if not *the*) best out there with flexible options and integrations with a large number of 3rd party applications out there. Well documented CSS classes allows for tight control of the look and feel, though out of the box it looks great.
I can't imagine using another comments system since installing on a production site, and look forward to whatever features come next!
No way - there is only option for rating. 7 stars of 5.
Excelent job! Thanks!
Thank you for your review and I'm sorry that you can not use JComments on your site at this moment. If you need the auto refresh feature - visit our forum and leave post about this in suggestions section. Development of the JComments never stops and in my mind I could add such feature in one of future version.
