Easy and smooth to install, use and configure.
Great integration with CBuilder.

One sugestion: possibility of publishing/delete/other options through a link in the email notification

Thanks for your efforts developing this extension.

Very good ... But there is no place to change the language. And it is very simple "Add Comment" should be more modern and flashy
Owner's reply

JComments uses same language as site so if you change site language - JComments' language will change too. It's standart behavior for Joomla's extensions...

This is the best comment extension I've tried. It's very easy to install, has lots of features and it looks nice. It has some nice modules, and it integrates nicely with Community Builder and others. You can import comments from almost any other comment component.

The backend is well organized and has many options, although an "IP blacklist" list is missing (maybe its coming soon?).

Anyway, this is an awesome componente. Thanks so much for sharing!

This is by far the best comment system. It can give good run for money even for the paid comment systems.

Only one major disappointment is there is no automatic notification to the author.

They are claiming that the work is going on and it will be released soon which will be a great thing.

The title pretty much says it all. After using this for a few months now, I very much regret having paid money for jomcomment. This component does pretty much everything jomcomment does, only better. In particular, integrations with 3rd party components is much cleaner and works better. My only gripe is that I haven't been able to get it working with JEvents yet, (not completely, anyway). But there's always room for improvement, right? Highly recommended to anyone looking for a good commenting system.

In my opinion, this is the best and most flexible commenting system on JED! No need to look further. Just try it, and you'll see what I mean...

Migrated to JComments to give it a try, and I'm really happy whit it.

- Installed "out-of-the-box" without any problems.
- Default CSS style is really nice and simple for any site, but anyways the CSS sheet is well organized, really easy to adapt.
- REALLY fast support at official forum.
- Easy but powerfull user's permission configuration.
And more...

You should give it a try!

When I see this extension as a new one I expect some average component. This is not what I expect, is better than a lot of commenting systems out there. My first concerned was related to the Gravatar support, for me that's a very important issue when you create this kind of extension/component and I have to say, that was one of the things what really impress me. I love when extensions get up to date in this kind of issues. The other asset is the aesthetic and all the additional functionality. This component is one of my favorites so far, a 5 out of 5.

I had this up and running in no more than 3 minutes (including configuration) on a 1.0 installation. For those who've installed components on 1.0, you know it can be a bit of a pain. I'll be using this on both 1.0 and 1.5. Great job!

Great component, does the job lovely but it's just a shame that I lose my "Read More" button on blog layout pages!
Owner's reply

You can disable using JComments style for readmore in JComments content plugin params. Or set same style for JComments links.

After browsing through the existing comments components for Joomla, this one was the logical choice after all.
Very clear configuration, works just as expected, allows adding comment system to arbitrary components with very small effort.
This component is just what one might need to have users interact with the site contents.
