Super Contact

★★ You can have Multiple forms on the same Page, each form Can have it's very on Button Text, Button, Color, Form Title, Recipient Email Address, an dall forms will only share the same Form Success Message . Joomla Versions only!
Choice of 10 Button Colors for the forms Call to Action button. All you have to do it add the color in the parameter at item level, green, blue, yellow, breen, magenta, red, orange, grey, white, black .
Option to set a custom Title for Super Contact on individual Module Instances on individual pages, so if you have a Directory listing as an example, you could have "Tom's Tailors" have their form with title "Tom's Tailors" and "Harry's Hardware" have their own title on their form.
Added a Telephone field that is not required to be filled in for the form to be submitted. It is optional so the visitor can decide whether to fill in it or not.
Added option to set the PopUps width, to accommodate the longer Placeholder words that occur with some translations. I do not recommend going over 400px.
The form makes use of advanced form validation and submitted data in the forms is protected by masking techniques for added security. It is possible to have customised forms per different pages with regard to the Form Heading, Recipients email address, Text in the Call to Action button, Text Fields etc ...
The Forms data fields are all fully customisable in so far as the language and language style is concerned and this can also be set in the Modules parameter settings. This gives you more freedom than being locked down to a language file. There is an option to enable or disable the email footer that the recipient receives, this email footer captures the Browser, OS, IP, and originating link of the form, amongst others.
You could have say a Business directory and allow each business listed to have their own Contact Form, or a Blog App where each Author could have a Contact form or even on Items in a Product Catalogue where each item could have a Contact or Feedback form.
Super Contact is built around a Spam Free Form validation and submission process, added to this is the fact that the form is invisible to Spam Bots, so it eliminates automatic form submissions from your website. The form does not require and form of Captcha so if you need Captcha, this is not a solution for you. We have done extensive research and testing on Usability and Accessibility and this is the result of that study .
Please ask questions prior to subscriptions and test the Demo.
There are about 8-10 different customers who have complained (not including myself) within the last 2 months that the form will not send data to any email account (recipient or main email). There have been a few attempts by their support to help the customers, with answers like (you need to disable all jQuery but ours). Why would that even make sense? Disabling slideshow and template jQuery files just to get one small popup contact form to work? Yeah.. that shouldn't even be an option, also considering that upon trying this solution, it doesn't work.
I asked for a solution weeks ago, but no one even bothered to follow up with any fix at all. I've received no replies to my question, and neither has any other new customers. The extension itself SEEMS awesome, and looks beautiful. I love the form itself, and the contact button with it's CSS3 effects. But, with Joomla 2.5.6 + the form simply will NOT send any email upon submission, and the support forum has gone to NO effort in trying to solve this issue beyond "Give us your login info". I have not asked for a refund yet because I am hoping that this huge bug in their code gets fixed soon.
It's upsetting that there is almost no attempt at offering any explanation or support for this issue, and I think it's due to the fact that it's being sold at $12 USD, and is just not worth it for the developers to actually fix this issue in a timely manner. Either they're banking on the fact that it works for 50% or more of their users, and if they have to give a refund to the other 50% then who cares? Right.
I've always excepted at least some level of support from Joomla developers, and I've come to appreciate the fact that over 90% of developers will offer support until the issue is fixed. Never before, or very rarely, have I seen a forum simply dead, or posts go ignored over and over without any solution to the same problem. That's just tacky. I was looking into purchasing HerdBoy's other products which seem promising, but I won't be doing so until I, and other customers, receive some level of respect regarding our issue. I mean, to simply IGNORE people for months at a time without even explaining "Hey, we can't figure it out, but here's a refund" is just disheartening.
I also looked in my Joomla's most recent visitor log, and no one from the support team ever logged into my backend even though I provided them the information to do so. I guess you do get what you pay for some times. So, as it stands right now, this form is only working for a handful of people using 2.5.6 +. Judging from the amount of threads titled ("Form not sending email") going back 2 months, I take it that there is no solution to this in sight.
If you do gamble on purchasing it for $12 USD in hoping that it MIGHT work for you, just don't expect any level of quality support if you happen to run into an issue. Purchasing this is really a gamble. You can also take a look at my JED review history; if a product is good then I give a good review. I have no reason to waste my time writing a lengthy review over a $12 issue unless I am really taken by surprise at the poor level of support.
I had an issue with the overlay appearing behind my sites top menu bar, and assumed it was a z-index issue, but couldnt work out just where to change this. Support was almost instant and fixed my problem perfectly. Could not be happier :)
Thanks for making a review, this is appreciated, all the best with your Projects.
Great job.
Thanks!
