Amplify Contact Module Module

A simple Joomla 1.5 contact form module that can be published in any module position and will show a name, email, tel, and message fields. This module has field validation as well as its own style sheet to allow you to customise the look of the contact form for your website.
Simple, but great to allow your site visitors to easy contact you on all of your Joomla site pages via a side module. This and more great Joomla extensions over at http://www.projectamplify.com

Great - But Beware Hidden Link

This is a very nice little module. However, be warned that if you turn credits to 'hide', you are doing just that, hiding a link in your code. This is very bad practice and has the potential to get your website banned from Google and other search engines.

Developers - either insist on a visible link credit, or allow people to pay to remove it. Don't hide links in the PHP code.

I would have given this 5 stars were it not for the above.

Hi, thanks for the review. We made this module (and others) available for free and have had thousands of downloads over the years. This causes us overheads with support which costs time and money....and so our only way of getting anything out of the equation is to have a link-back to our site.

We have clearly labeled the terminology in this module so it says it "hides the link", rather than actually removes it.

I take your point though, and will make the link so its not an option to remove (although you and I know that this not only makes the users site ugly but 98% of users will go into the code and remove it themselves).

Very easy to set up, and fits nicely in my website's side panel. I edited the backend files to just have the name & email address fields, as I'll be using it as a simple newsletter subscription tool.

Hmm great, but does not work in IE.

The module does not work in IE under SMTP protocol.I am not sure if its limited to SMTP, but thats the configuration I have it in. IE does not recognize the send button or something, it just reloads the page and does nothing.

This is a nice and usefull module, bat if i change some values from EN to GR i get error txt. If this can be fixed it will be an excellent module.

Thank you for this Module...
It installs in 5 seconds and if you want to change the width just open the CSS file and chose your prefferences there! Thats it!

I was waiting for a long time for this module, because it has telephone and organisation fields.
It lacks, however, a simple way to translate the module, and joomfish support.
