I was missing the ability to have the e-mail address filled in on a form to be the reply address in the form that was e-mailed so I contacted support about this. They kindly provided a solution without charging.. This was a nice surprise because I don't have a paid license!
So highly recommended. Not only because of the help but the product itself also works.
I had an issue when upgrading (my own fault) and the support team were fantastic - after a couple of emails where I tried to do what they suggested they just did it for me!!
I currently only need the basic version, but as soon as a client asks for something more I will be purchasing the PRO version.

We can confirm that this extension has it all! We use Proforms for more than 50 facilities and all the managers are exited about their email that they receive! Also in the first month the website had over 30000 unique visitors using the forms. Not a single complain about the forms came back to us.
It is easy to build and integrate. It is really customer friendly and there are so many more things that you can do with it!
From Hotel Reservation to Family Programs. It is extremely usefull.
Also after some support questions there was immediate respons with some really good solutions!

I also wasn't able to get the email notification to work.
I undertand the reason for wanting users to upgrade to the paid version and would gladly have done so, but since I couldn't test any of the advanced features first, and the poor design of the screens made me wonder whether the Pro version would be any better, I decided to use a different extension instead.
Logical and easy in use.
Nevertheless can understand that it's part of their marketing.
More surprising to get personal support from them. Had a CSS flaw and they solved it in half an hour.

We just can shake our heads by this review.
This is a free (as in beer) component and we gave tech support anyway.
We gave it not only one time, we checked the site and responded several times to the reviewers emails.
Every time we checked the site everything used to be working like a charm.
So how can we help if the form is working on different browsers.
Probably the person PROVOKED this review of whatever reason.
A fact is that we have gave support for free and couldn't find any errors. If this issue is real the only reason could be a misconfigured server.
But everybody understands that we can not give dedicated support over a long time for free.
If you purchase an advance service subscription you can get more intensive support.
Such reviews let us think about canceling any support for Proforms Basic.
The victims are the community thank such parasitary people.
I've tried a few of those and none come up to Proforms ankle.

And here's my however: I keep getting dots "..." instead of the Question or Alias for some websites. This appears in Templates > items. When you have a nice list of items it gets really hard to find which item to select to adjust, so you have to try out some items to get to the right one..
I tried finding a solution within Proforms help part, the website, and google, couldn't find anything on it.
But, as I said, apart from this problem it works great.
The database storage function is just for the advance version.
The basic version clearly states out that there is not database storage built in.

I've sent an email and got a clear, nice and professional answer the next day.
Additionally they sent me parts of the handbook they are writing. This was real gold because it helps understanding some things much faster.
At all the Mad4Media team provides an excellent component and support.
There doesn't seem to be any way to contact the developers without buying the product, so reluctantly I am uninstalling.
This looked like a good product, but if the free version doesn't work and the developers are not available for support, it's not much use.

Proforms uses Joomla’s native mail function. If emails are not sent it is up to the user to set up a working Joomla mail configuration (Joomla Admin > Global Configuration > Server > Mail Settings).
There are almost 100.000 installations of Proforms Basic. Guess nobody would use it if email sending doesn’t work properly.

Well if you like to get enhanced support you certainly need to purchase service time.
