I have installed lots of Joomla pages, both 1.0 and 1.5 series. First I had doubts with 1.5 compability, but when installing went so smoothly and there have not been even small error or compability issue, my doubts faded away. Everything works so fine.
There´s no wysiwyg editor, but basic forms don´t even need that. You can design more complex forms with Dreamweaver and paste the field designing codes to RSform!
RSform! is also much faster than it´s competitors.

Very impressed with the speed with which a form can be generated.
The interface allows for control of the forms at two levels: for the non-coders a fully featured form can be generated with default settings, however for those with html coding skills, full control over the appearance of the form can be acheived. The two levels of control are well-combined so that a user is not required to complete fields to create a usable form.

It is indeed very useful to have a form management tool that is compatible with and tailored to Joomla 1.5, easy to install and ready to lend its features for creating decent forms in various formats and options without having to be cozy and savvy with XML, PhP, SQL, json, jQuery, openlaszlo, Amazon S3, prototype.js, script.aculo.us, JAVA, AJAX and so on.
It would be even better if RSform! also came with thorough documentations as well as many pre-built or preset templates that can be customised. Let's increase the playful and creative factor for fast prototyping and presentation!

I´m using in joomla 1.5 and i´m loving it

This component is the best form component out there. I've tried them all and this one wins hands down.
you can go from install to a simple form in 5 minutes. This is now a must install for every one of my future client sites. for $10 you can't beat the time saving you get with this component. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

Finally, a joomla! 1.5 Form tool capable of this level of detailed form building. This one goes 9 steps further in the level of detail you can apply in your form design from the look to the script behavior. What has me impressed was the learning curve, I was able to get 'doing' upon install, My first 'test' form was actually implemented. Golden Extension, A keeper.
This is my first extension (component) I have installed. It's as easy to install as a template- same thing- just upload zip file then peek inside your components menu.

It's there. At first I was confused by how it sent emails, but then I actually read the directions within the component screen, and it was easy. Why doesn't Joomla have this as default...?
I was also really was surprised by all the features it had. Perfect to impress clients with.

I downloaded RSForm and had a fully operational form with e-mail confirmation in about 10 minutes! Normally just the HTML would take that long but RSForm took care of it and even allows for advanced styling with CSS for every element. That's a great feature but possibly the best feature about RSForm is its built in e-mail confirmation. It's literally a two text-box affair to have this feature working. Another very interesting feature is the serious, under-the-hood see-how-it-ticks-and-customize-it PHP features. RSForm will allow you to run your own specified PHP code upon form display and then upon the form being submitted. This is fantastic from a web developer's point of view as RSForm can integrate perfectly into Joomla's look and feel but then also perform operations on an application of your own devising which Joomla's native interface completely lacks. It's hard jumping to J1.5 when most modules haven't even begun to work on 1.5 support but RSForm is fully functional.
I have been using Joomla for a while now and have been looking for a simple form solution that my suers can handle on there own... RSForm is that solution. It is clean, easy to learn and quick to create forms in. It contains all of the basic tools we need to integrate forms into our site
RSForms is great. It is one of the few extensions I found to be compatible with 1.5. The features are exactly what I was looking for, completely customizable forms, yet no programming knowledge is required to use the extension. Another aspect I liked was that the initial installation was straightforward. Several extensions I have tried previously would not work with the built-in install module on Joomla 1.5.
Now for the downside. My one complaint is that as far as I could find there is no comprehensive user guide to explain the setup of the extension, mainly the email requirements. I am still unsure as to the method RSForms uses to send confirmation and form data emails after someone has submitted one. Because of that I cannot get emails to send after form submission. However, because of the way the back end is designed, I can still access this data and that system works just fine for my purposes.
All in all a great extension, just would like to see more in-depth documentation as to the requirements and setup of the extension.

I currently own 2 commercial form components 123forms and phil-a-form, 123 was easy but was too buggy and phil-a-form was just hard to learn, this one is pretty easy from the get go and gave you hints on parameters as you chose them. If you used form script before you will understand it immediately.
If you never made a form with any component before then you will need a few minutes to understand field parameters like select and it variations. This component also gives you way more custom options than anything I have seen. and I have seen a lot since MAMBO and the birth of Joomla. I would give this 10 STARS!!!!.

I tried this component in an earlier version and was impressed with its ease of installation and use. At the time I didn't need any forms, but kept it in my mind for the future. Recently, I have needed to create forms for my site and attempted to use other form generators such as Fabrik, but RSform (formerly Forme) was by far the friendliest form creator, and is even better than when I originally tried it out. You can install it and begin building usable forms in a couple minutes and the functionality is all there - creating new fields, editing their appearance and functionality. A great component all around, congrats to the RSform team on a great Joomla extension!
This component is awesome. By far one of the best form generation tools for Joomla. I spent a good amount of time with the trial version testing and it exceeded my expectations ten fold. Creating form fields is really simply and you don't have to copy and paste it from Dreamweaver - Unlike other form components out there.
Installation was a breeze. I had a form created in less than 5 minutes
