I am developing a Joomla site and needed some good form software. I looked at a few of the options and decided to spring for BreezingForms. This COM/MOD/PLGN combination is exactly what I was hoping for. Fast, easy, powerful, and - did I say easy. They have three modes for form design (Quick, Easy and Classic) and each offers advantages or disadvantages, but the Quick Mode is fantastic and easy. Still, having the availability of the more technical two modes is great if I need them. One of the features I wanted was the ability to set the form email destination to be dynamic, based on a selection in the form - the way I had the old PHP form setup... simple. I was prepared to make some code changes but nope. Not needed.
I did have an issue with a display difference between the form assigned to a menu item, and the same form embedded in an article. The person that was helping me (The Amazing Terry) was fast, clear, and helpful. She even looked at it on a weekend. Very cool. I am still tracing the issue's origin, but the fix was a simple CSS line.
All-in-all one of the best experiences I have had. Highly recommended.

With simple forms it works just perfect out of the box. Very easy to use, even with no knowledge of php/html or whatever.
Fast support if you need it. Not very expensive and you can use it on more then one website.

This is a great extension that is very easy to implement. It has so features and abilities - I have yet to exhaust all the possibilities. I found installation was relatively simple on two different sites (one very old Joomla site) and getting a form up and running was a "breeze". What really sets this extension apart, is the excellent customer support. Some extension developers take days to answer questions or help with issues (some don't even provide meaningful support on commercial extensions). But not Breezing Forms - their responsive and clear/concise member support is excellent!
I've used multiple forms components in Joomla and Wordpress, and BreezingForms is by far the most robust I've come across, definitely worth the investment in the commercial version. It's feature-rich, but at the same time "easy" to use (ease of use depends on how sophisticated or simple you need to make your forms).
We're using it on a tourism portal, for an "event suggestion form" in multiple languages (including user-uploaded images). Although we experimented with the various kinds of forms available in the component, one of the "Quickforms" worked out just fine for us and we were able to implement it quickly.
And Crosstec's support is very good; quick and effective. They provided a well-documented solution to a need we had.

So....I'm certainly not the most advanced Joomla user around here, so I was a little unsure about buying and using a form builder. Anyway after reading the reviews I decided to go for it. The video tutorial was very easy to follow, and within about 30 mins I had a very professional looking form that both I and my clients really love. But as easy as it was to build the forms and get them inserted into the site - I still had questions that needed answering. And this is where I can help many of you out there thinking about getting this product - The customer support COULDN'T HAVE BEEN BETTER. I spent time with Terry - and she took me through all of my questions/concerns from start to finish - she didn't rush me, and she made sure I was 110% happy. All my forms work perfectly (and they are pretty serious forms) and they look great. It just makes ME look like an actual pro when I can deliver to my clients. Bottom line, I have limited experience with other form builders - but I can say this serves every one my goals - and honestly - the support was worth it all. And no I didn't get paid to write this review!! (In fact I think this is the first review I've ever written - and I'm no spring chicken!)
Although there might still be some issues with Joomla 1.6, the support is really excellent. I just came in a period, when many of the support staff were absent, but they managed to solve my problem. The interface is at first glance a little confusing, but once you start using it, you'll get used to it. I highly recommend this form builder, not only because of its features, but for the great support!
I've been using this extension for some time now and even though it helped me create the forms i needed the learning curve is too steep. i have 6 years programming experience and a bachelor degree in computer science and found the program to be very hard to learn - not to mention to teach the customers! perhaps this is because it's been developed by a non-native English speaker or perhaps that the development team has always expected the user to be computer-savy (most customers are not, believe me). either way, there have been major improvements since the initial version and for that i congratulate Markus - but not going the right direction i was hoping it would.

in my computer science studies I learned not to develop software for other computer scientists but for regular users.
That's what I did with BreezingForms and that's why it is a major success. Since I know you from the support and have the feeling you simply are missing the big picture, let me try to explain the structure of BreezingForms again:
- QuickMode: for non-programmers
- EasyMode: for designers (custom html templates)
- ClassicMode: for programmers
Despite the fact that each mode has a different user audience, they still share the same environment to allow custom modifications without hacking.
Example "QuickMode":
If you are a non-programmer, this mode will allow you to create forms quick AND easy, there is a very good amount of features incuded.
But still, when you have a special requirement that a form builder usually doesn't deliver, it will allow you to implement it without hacking. Means, even if you can do just 99% of the job because of lacking programming skills, you will be able to ask somebody with a little programming experience to help and finish the form.
You don't need programming but you can if you like - at well defined places. It depends on the type of form, your own skills and the form mode you are choosing.
BTW: There is a very huge update on the way where I will clearly outline the not so far future of BreezingForms.

After checking and reading all extension for making a form, this one is very good and easy. At first, Im confused about on what type of form I will use thru this extension but after checking all the video tutorial and knowledge base. I decided to use the Quick form and finish my project on one day.

I've been using RS Forms for a while now, and I wanted to build a dynamic form with a lot of validation. After reading the recommendations on this extension I decided to try it. First it took me a couple of hours to get used to the interface. Then I watched a couple of the videos from Crosstec and I was able to get my forms running the same day. This extension is extremely powerful, and it comes with MailChimp and PayPal integration out of the box. The only additional feature I'd love to see is out of the box Google Analytics integration.
Again, I strongly suggest you watch the videos before you start on your forms. You'll be glad you did. You can find the videos on Crosstec's website.

Potentially, on the paper, it should have been my choice of extension to be used for forms. It has many options and capabilities. However, recently the support became non-existent. Personally, I have submitted support tickets a week ago, and no one bothers to reply. Many users have complained about it, and at some stage the developer has announced the recruitment of another person, but since then things have gone down hill again.
The extension has issues and bugs that need to be resolved. That's why I need answers, but there's no one to answer. There's simply no support whatsoever.

I cannot agree to your statement about bugs. There is no blocking bug in the current release. Please ask the support (yes, there is support), it might be a server or site setup problem.

Bought this extension just a week ago because I needed to create two forms on my own website.
First form was a simple contact form which I managed to set up in no time thanks to the Quickmode.
I also needed to create a 5 page form with a summary page and some conditional fields and sections. Took me a little longer but I cannot imagine any other way to do this more quickly.
I did run into 2 bugs but those were instantly fixed after consulting the forum and FAQ.
Have to say I am extremely happy with this extension. Thank you very much.

I had to get used to this component a bit, but once you get going, you find out quickly how powerful it is. You can make any layout and with scripts extend the functionality further.
Now if only they made the recaptcha multi-lingual...

I have used most of the form creators, and although some are good, this one is better. Takes a little bit of getting used to but once you have, creating forms is, as the name implies, a breeze.
Has lots of features and can make some impressive forms, with tooltips, summary and thank you pages all very easy to setup, as well as attaching files to emails.
This is now a standard install for us on all site builds, great work!

Breezing Form, is extremely powerful and likely to be able to meet all your needs. However, the way to get there is not always as straight forward as you may have dreamed. I hesitated with SFG Form but choose Breezing because of its front head capacity, multi-level interfaces and added plugins.
The QuickMode is extremely easy to handle and has many useful tools such as ready made templates and a drag & drop hierarchy and others. Like always, the documentation could be improved but the forum, knowledge base and the Support are so responsive that they compensate for it.
I highly recommend Breezing Form and would buy it again.

At least in the "EasyMode" the component needs time to get used to it. But you will get an excellent support and answered all you questions!

please use the QuickMode, as for many people "easy" means being "quick".
If your form requires custom html, then the EasyMode shows its strength.
