I was looking for a form that could automatically email out "fact sheets" and came across Breezing forms.
The module does take a bit of getting used to, but has great flexibility and adaptability. It may not be the best module for people without coding knowledge - but if you are happy to email your request for support you will be helped out!

I posted a poor review when I first bought the subscription because I needed help there and then and it didn't seem to be coming, however this was due to the fact that Terry was off sick. As soon as she was back the difference was unbelievable. A great product, even better support (thank you Terry) and they are big enough to hold their hands up when they are not giving the levels of support and increased my subscription from 6 months to a year.
I still think that the tutorials and documentation are a little lacking, I for one would be happy to assist improving them.

I used this extension to create a multipage form for a resort site (as their designer), and it was much easier than doing it with code. I've had some minor bobbles with layout within my template, but support is addressing them and I'm pretty happy with the product. The fact that it isn't limited to a single domain is great too. Staff is courteous.
This is a Forms module 2nd to none. It can do anything and is also VERY easy to use. The support is amazing even for a novice like me!

I cannot rate this high enough and is more than just a forms module, I'm only scratching the surface of what it can actually do..

For me Breezing Forms has been user friendly, provides excellent features that exceeded my expectations, and most of all has a support staff that is extremely receptive and prompt with responses and support. On top of that it allows for flexibility that the developers who are now assisting me say it will easily allow for other customization, though I may not need the developers to write anything as the Team at Crosstec has already been forthcoming with PHP scripts they had to accomplish some of my goals.
Before finding Breezing Forms I had considered getting a custom application written to facilitate my objectives of a multi-paged form builder and CMS for the documents being created. After getting some developers bids I decided to take a look around and I found Fabrik.
Do to my limited experience I found Fabrik to be look great but I was not able to progress on my own and that is when I found Breezing Forms.
I suggest anyone take the time to give it a chance and I am sure you will be pleased if not surprised with what Breezing Forms will allow you to do.

I've used a lot of form building extensions and this one is by far the most difficult and you really dont get much extra with it. I would stay away. Wish I could get my money back.

are you sure you rated the right extension?
BreezingForms ships with 3 modes:
- QuickMode - Quick results, easy to use, lots of features
- EasyMode - Easy creation of forms, focused on designers (may use html templating)
- ClassicMode - For programmers, pixel wise layouting
About "not having any extras":

Sounds like a bunch of extras, doesn't it?
Plus, when you read the other ratings here, you will see that your statement doesn't reflect the reality, so we are a little bit confused but hope you might have a closer look and re-think your opinion.

Works good unless you use IE. On top of that if you create a form in one Mode you can't edit it in another one. The outputted html is full of gibberish (lots of absolute positioning, inline styles etc) from a developer's point of view. The same gibberish is present in the names of the fields - it's a burden to try to rename all fields when their names are generated randomly, without any type of logic (they're just random characters and numbers). Instead they should have used something more like "text1", "text2". At least support is responsive. The extension however leaves me with a bitter taste, it needs much improvement...

if your site has problems (templates, plugins, modules) there is always something that can happen. But BreezingForms is _working well_ with internet explorer.
You should rather contact the support so we can find out what is wrong with your site:

For the positioning: If you decide to use the classic mode, you will have absolute positioning of elements (it is even mentioned in the feature list). There is nothing bad about it. If you don't like it use the QuickMode, please.

This Component gets installed onto all sites these days. It has various levels of difficulty that you can try. The Quick Mode has served me well so far.
The extensibility of this component is excellent. I have read the forums and the things you can do are also well documented.
SUPPORT..... I have to say, has been excellent. I have used support twice and both times it has been QUICK and FRIENDLY, and answered my queries with no problems.
I have been meaning to add a review for some time, if only to rave about the support.

Incredibly versatile component and phenomenal support. I’ve tried a lot of other form builders but this is the one! I had a problem with one form that needed some custom scripting and support had it fixed in an hour. You can’t get better than that. You can build anything from PayPal forms to complex quotation forms and everything in-between. Highly recommended for form creation.
I tried all the free ones out there and I gave it a 10-15 minutes each. If I dont have progress I am going to quit and move on. I dont care about spending a little money but I dont want to waste money if a product is no good (miscrosoft).

We have been using this component for a few months now and it gets installed onto almost every site we do.
We've tried a few other commercial & non-commercial solutions but breezingforms is by far the favorite and most used - over and above the fact that you can use it on unlimited domains.

Breezing forms saved my day as i could't find any other good form component for joomla 1.6. i had some small problems getting the paypal button to work but got excellent support from the website. Strongly recommend this one for u guys who also are using joomla 1.6
Breeze forms is an excellent joomla application. Breeze Forms provides an intuitive interface for the user. Plus, Breeze form has added the xforms reporting tool that provides an easy way to query information out of the database for the Breezeform user. The xforms in Breezeforms can exprort a report to an excel document.

For us people who are just starting in the business of web developing with Joomla, it's important to have the back up of a good technical support when you buy an extension and or program
The Plug-in is a great plugin, very versatile and easy to use, quick to complete a form.
On the other hand, the technical support, forums and videos still need more work. my first experience was after trying the Free plugin, decided to buy the subscription, the documentation for the software removal does not coincide with the files installed by Joomla 1.5.x. Which results in a stressful and risky situation where a not so savvy Joomla user cannot figure out... I requested support and at first got responses, then when the time to deliver my website to my client came, I did not received one more email to address my issue in 4 days. I asked in so many ways to receive an answer, practically begged!. This has resulted in a huge waste of time/money and frustration, without including that my client did not received a finalized website on the promised date. The norm is that you get support no later than 24 hours, and my previous experience is that you usually have a live chat with someone even if they are on the other side of the world. Today at this time still have not receive an answer...

from the ticket history I can see that you used the wrong email address and we had to find out your real one to inform you about your mistake.
We always answered in a timely manner for your following tickets. Of course you'll will have a delay over weekends. But this still doesn't explain where you got the 4 days from?

Breezing forms it's an excellent extension. Very easy to use in quickmode, and with an high potential for experienced users and programmers, bucause it lets to insert scripts and php code into the form, so, the forms can be personalized as your imagination and knowledgements lets ... Also at the begining I have several problems because I was a beginner in joomla ... The staff helped and guided me with the problems.
I have tried several form extensions (Fabric, ckforms, jforms and few other. This is the very BEST ONE!
-It´s working like a charm and it is enough customizable so i could use it with many sites. -Many nice themes with it and with css u can do miracles.. Licence does not have any domain rescrictions.
..And support, WOW.. I had little problem when i tried to manage show/hide section (it was my fault), but i got answered and he also fixed it to my site after 30min.

I've tried a couple of form creators for Joomla, but since upgrading to Joomla 1.6 I couldn't find many that would run in it; Breezing forms is one of the few that does (for that it gets 5 stars).

I have seen a couple of the demonstration videos on the author's site and plan to return to watch others.
This gets a "good" rating (4 stars) due to my experience initially with the usability and "getting started" aspect, even though I figured it out in the end without any need for asking for support.

This is a great extension! I have made 3 forms, from simple to more detailed. I got stuck on how to get the form to display just the way I wanted and created a support ticket and had it all resolved with in the hour of sending out the ticket. Now that was fast! Tutorials are great however, the sound on the videos is very faint. That's my only complaint if there has to be one.
I have used many products and rarely compliment the developer and staff for outstanding production and service. The group at CrossTec has provided to the Joomla! public a user-friendly, bug free and affordable product.
I have been using BreezingForms for years and must say that their product improvement and customer service is EXACTLY what buyers expect. Joomla! is only as good as the developers of the extensions is uses.

BreezingForms is a great component and well worth the money. Lot's of options for great looking and complex custom forms. Had to switch from Chronoforms due to issues with suhosin and hosting provider. Better with more features. There is a learning curve but well balanced considering the powerfull features and options. Recently had an issue, the support was fast and superb, the best I've gotten for any Joomla add on so far. If you need a Forms Toolkit for your site this is the best one I know. I don't write many reviews here. I want to be fair to developers so I save my reviews for the very best or must have add on that help me build better sites faster. BreezingForms is amoung the best and most useful I've found.
