I have recently set up a social networking site using Joomla and JomSocial called GAYnatter. One of the things my users wanted was a Poll solution. The built in Joomla Polls wasn't flexible enough and users couldn't create their own polls.
I came across Community Polls and thought I would try it out. What an absolutely fantastic add-on. It's bought GAYnatter alive with users setting up their own polls and interacting.
However, I had a problem with some of the scripting. Not an issue, Maverick of CoreJoomla was straight on the case. He even logged into my Admin back-end to trouble shoot the issue for me, and put in place a patch to fix the issue. The guy is a unique rarity in the world of add-ons, someone who is diligent enough to try to fix issues and not just refer a user to a forum and then not want to help any further. I commend and applaud him for his diligence in this.
As you can see, I cannot praise the add-on any higher than this, and although the issue isn't completely fixed, Maverick is still working on fixing it completely (I might add that the problem may not even be related to his code, but a combination of template and other apps on my site, but he's still willing to fix the issue!).
So, if you want to bring your Joomla/JomSocial website to life, I would thoroughly recommend Community Polls.

This poll will add a lot of interaction to your community site. I have to say I've been very impressed so far with the developers enthusiasm to add new features and fix bugs when the arise.

Where do I start? I am more than pleased with the component and Maverick (developer) is truly dedicated to producing an outstanding product that will enhance any community. I had numerous problems within my own site that contributed to the component having some glitches and he gladly spent precious time helping me. He replied to all my questions within minutes and it works flawlessly. Thanks for a great product and world class support.

I was looking for a long time for a component like this.
It is easy to use, very useful and very very promising.
Most important, the support is excellent. Fast and reliable. Few bugs I found and they were solved fast.
I rarely buy or use scripts with poor support. I recommend it! The money you ll spend, wont be wasted.

I must say that I signed up just to write this review. My members of my site and myself are loving this extention. It gives my member the power to easily create their own polls, which gives me more time for other issues. I must also say that support from Corejoomla has been first rate, quick to reply, normally within a few minutes. Without a doubt the best joomla "Polls" product on the market.
