What a great extension. I don't get many requests for polls on client pages, but I needed one in a hurry and this was perfect. I can't thank you enough for you generous non-commercial price of free. Installed without hassle, easy to customize.
Joomla! rocks and so does their developers!
Thank you.

Thank you.
I have been using this on a website for about 2 years now and this little component just plain WORKS! I am about to use it on another site! Thank you again for making this and sharing it with the community.
I was not so happy when I found out that you need to put the ID of the poll on the module configuration each time you create a new one, but I guess by luck I just find out that you just need to fill that field with a 0 and each time you create a new one, it will display the last one, don't matter if you have it published or not, it will show you the last one...
now if you want to display another poll in just one article, this ID thing comes handy, so you just create a new module for the poll and assign the id of the pool you want to display...
very good plugin, the only thing missing is to put two or more polls at the same time, but... I think I will never have two at the same time, I don't want to make the user go crazy with so many polls!

I tried this extension and is the one I have liked, but I found two problems:
1) The mark to select the survey, comes under the options being one above the other.
2) After submitting the vote, in the form of bars are shown without color, but to go to detailed page, show the colors I selected.
I hope that future versions will fix it, because if one happens to me, I find no way to fix it.
Thanks for the extension.

I am using this extension for a month and I should say, that it is very good! It is the single free module, where you can select diagram lines' color and beside that, it perfectly puts in any position.
But I have some complaints: in first, when user selects item and click "Vote", the strage XML page are downloading. It contains the names of items in poll and they numbers. And this file is downloading as when you use Ajax technology as when you use simple re-loading of page. Maybe somebody know, how to take this file away?

This is a neat, fast and effective poll.
Having enough options without clutter it generates good user-friendly polling.
I have tried others but this is the best I have tested and I will continue to use it.

It is too bad there is no supporting documentation. I wouldn't mind paying if I knew it worked, but can't get it to work and I'm not a novice. I like to "try before I buy/donate" Tried for a couple of hours, checking forums, etc., but am missing something. I get a php warning "Implode" etc. which seems quite common in the forums but the solution is not clear.
This is a good extension. It was easy to install and within a few minutes I had a couple of surveys up an running. Simple but attractive display of information.
I would quite like the ability to pre-populate some sample data without having to wait an hour to add another response.

I guess this extension works for some folks, but in Joomla 1.7 the ads never show up. I have a clean brand new Joomla install, and the ads have been entered and published, and they even show up in the "Most Recent" classifieds module. But no matter what you do, if you create a menu item to link to your classifieds you will get a page without any ads on it. Plus, this is a free extension and the developer makes it very clear that there is no support. He's not lying. There is no support. If you get stuck like me, you are out of luck.
I tried this module after reading some of your reviews.
I found it fairly straight forward to install and configure however ran into problems when I deleted the first poll I created. After much scruitiny! I found that the Module needs to refer to the Poll id in the "Poll ID" box within the module config.
Also discovered, that one can't have multiple polls within the same module, a bit of an annoyance! Means you have to create a module for each poll!
Text resizing doesn't work.
Disabling "messeges" didn't disable messages!
Changing lag period between votes to 1 didn't work!
Plugin's JomSocial - I hoped would configure a twitter and facebook button - didn't work!
Who know's I might be configuring it wrong - but who would know, there's no documentation!
But it is free and can does work to a certain extent!

Excellent component surveys.
Thank you and please continue with progress towards success.

This is a pretty good poll component, and it's the one I finally selected for my web site after reviewing MANY of the different components out there. It's intuitive to configure and use, easy to install, and looks OK. I wish it supported the Google-style pie-charts used by Community Polls, rather than just simple bars in the Ajax modules. But other than that nit, it does everything I need in a simple poll component.
