I love this poll I can't tell you how many polls I've downloaded and tried only to find that it doesn't work with IE or Firefox. I am happy to say that this poll for me worked in IE 6, 7 and Firefox. THANK YOU! I also had a question so I e-mailed the developer (Frédéric) he was very quick to respond to my inquiry.

Excellent replacement for a dorky standard Joomla poll. The guy who created it proved easy to get in touch with and most helpful in customizing it, with excellent knowledge of php and javascript.

Just what I needed, the standard Joomla poll and other ones in this category, didnt show the results where I wanted but this one did!
Very easy to install and set up, thank you!
Only downside, the download is all in French, sacre bleu!

Needed a simple, ajax based poll module. This one is great.


The only thing that keeps this from being 5 stars is the fact that it shows the results already. That needs to be a feature you can turn off.

Otherwise, it works great for me. Much better than the Joomla default, which navigates to a different page to show the results.

Very good, sipmle, fast and transparent AJAX based module!
But require some functions, like random pools. Some of strings are untranslated (like "You already voted").
With this additions it would be fantastic!

While it is great that this module enables you to displays the poll results within the module, it does not give you the ability to only show the poll results after someone votes or clicks see results.

When the module loads, it always loads showing the results of previous polling. In my opionion, this unduly influences the user's vote and reduces user engagement. What we really need is the option to only have the polls choices load without any poll result information. The user would then only be able to see the poll results by either submitting a vote or clicking "see results".

I would also like to see better formatting. The core Joomla poll module shows the poll options with good indentation and alignment. When I loaded Fly06, the line spacing and alignment looked "messy". Again, just my opinion.

This is the Poll module that has been long overdue! With ajax so that it's a LIVE poll, no page reload!!
You can choose your color for the poll so it'll pretty much match any site! As for picking the poll from the module... well that makes it MUCH easier than going into a module change settings then go to the poll page and change it there...

THIS way you have only to create the poll then choose it from the module!! NICE and easy.
This thing offers loading delays, bar length, show hits and last vote!! WOW what better way to track your poll! You can also allow a user to vote more than once and even restrict who can vote [must be logged in to vote].

All-in-all this poll module is the one I've been waiting for.. it just does it all!!!

This module is awesome. You can show the results of the poll straight away. No need to click to seperate results page. Too bad it isn't Joomla 1.5 compatible. Any chance it will be translated?

I am very happy with this poll module. It has provided me with exactly the right look for my site and my users love it.

Fly06 Poll Module fits a need for an attractive poll solution. The capability to show results at the same place the polls is shown is a plus. Core functionality that moves results to another page is stone age in this area. Ajax usage makes this feasible to most webmasters.

Joomla 1.5 users (me included) wait because Fly06 Poll will be available very soon as I have been able to see the demo.

I love the way this poll looks compared to the other ones available. I am pretty particular on how I want my site to look, and Fly06 Poll has met my expectations for quality design, and presentation.

Only issue I had was having to make was having to add the related css style sheet in the head part of my template's index.php file so that the bars would show up for the poll. Frédéric was kind enough to help, and do this part for me. Further exceeding my expectations.

I would definately recommend this poll above all the other one I tried (and I tried almost all of em).

I don't like it simply because it does not have the option to chose random polls and especially I don't like the fact that you have to chose the pool id from the jos_poll table not from the admin panel (that is far to complicated)
