For a complete overview of the changelist, please visit this page: http://www.iptechinside.com/labs/versions/show/5
Easy install, flexible using, integrating pictures...
Only one thing: the quiz-user must give his name an his email-adress, better there would an option to deactivate this for anonymous user...
- no Unicode support. I install all, and test with module. My hungarian characters in answers was coded in frontend, not displayed correctly. :-( Just check it with this: árvíztűrő tükörfúrógép.
- slide mode not worked under IE9. :-( I see all questions.
Please fix these bugs, because your addon is great, but I can't use on my site.
The component it self was easy enough to install and there isn't much to configure, so that's nice. But after a week of trying I give up and won't be using this component.
The forums at the developer's site have several bug reports detailing this issue, but there are no solutions offered other than 'use a different browser'.
So, after trying IE7, IE8, Chrome, FireFox, Opera and Safari I gave up.
Interestingly enough, I've received an email from my posting on the developer's from another user asking if I've resolved the issue.
Dear Ashiyr,
Thank your for downloading and testing JQuarks and we apologize for the encountered issue.
You probably haven't unzipped the downloaded file. Since JQuarks includes a component, 2 plugins and a module, you have to unzip the downloaded. Then you need to install each of them and publish the 2 plugins and the module. This should immediately resolve your issue.
These two links would probably be in help:
1. JQuarks installation guide: http://www.iptechinside.com/labs/wiki/jquarks/Installation_Guide
2. Similar question raised by a JQuarks user: http://www.iptechinside.com/labs/boards/5/topics/show/361
Hope it helps and make you review your rating :)
Thanks again,

Waiting for the upgrade.
Hi JQuarker!
Thank you for using JQuarks and for the review.
We can't really see the difference between the indicated types of users. Quizzes could be definitely assigned to registered users, you can test this on the demo site: http://www.jquarks.org/demo/
Besides, we highly encourage you to ask any JQuarks-related question on the dedicated forum:

I do not give 5 stars because the backend is quite complex, for example its hard for me to see why we need "set of questions" and "quizzes", what is the difference ? And to assign quizzes to users seems to me a kind of overkill - honestly the older version 0.2.2 looked better to me.
Anyhow thanks for the good work, maybe in future the project will go in the direction of simplification again ? thank you !
Dear Daniel,
Thank you so much for your review.
We admit that through versions, JQuarks administration is getting more and more configuration work. Besides, this is required since it's providing more features that naturally need to be configured. We could imagine in future releases a default configuration which is preset when creating a quiz, and customization depend on users' willingness to go deeper with JQuarks.
On the other hand, "set of questions" are created to make easy to compose a quiz: An administrator creates several sets of questions, but when creating a quiz, he have just to select question families to include in the test.
Here a simple use case: we are assessing a job candidate, and we are going to test his skills in computer programming, so we will make him take three quizzes: 1. logical reasoning questions 2. PHP questions 3. SQL questions. Besides, to be relevant, the test should be adapted to the technical level of the candidate, then, the recruiter will pick the right set(s) of questions: "PHP - Intermediate" and "PHP - Advanced" for example. Same for Logical questions and Quiz (to avoid taking two PHP quizzes, this way, the candidate will only take the quiz resulting of the two set of questions merge).
Hope the utility of set of questions is more clear this way. If not, I highly encourage you to engage discussions on JQuarks forum: http://www.iptechinside.com/labs/projects/jquarks/boards
Thanks again,

But when create new quiz, unsaved the quiz.
Thanks
My 5.
