Simply create a survey category, add questions, then add a menu item, it really is that easy.

I wanted a survey module to gather information from the users and dive shop owners for my website
Despite the fact it is easy to install and to activate I wanted to protect this survey from spam. One is suggested but does not work with other modules.
In less than a day Tim assisted me efficiently to modify few lines of the module to insert the captcha module that works with all my modules.
Apart from that the Survey module itself covers all my needs (multiple pages, redirection according to an answer, tables...)

On one site a few months ago, all I needed were the basic functions of this survey program. It was so easy to use that I chose it again for another site that needed more advanced survey tools. These are solid products that are very easy to use.
If you need a survey - then this does the job, quickly and easily. Upgrading to Pro version is worth every penny.
Has saved the company thousands of ££££. We now do our surveys all ourselves.

We needed an extension for our new Joomla site that was going to replace a collection of feedback forms from our old (and nasty!) HTML site.
What we were trying to achieve was a selection of different multiple-choice surveys for 5 different departments, and also for each of those to have a free-text area available for general comments.
On top of that, we wanted something that would store the results, analyse the results, and also let us know by e-mail whenever a feedback survey was completed.
Having scanned through all the available extensions, BF Survey seemed like it was the one for us.
It was up and running within 10 minutes with our first survey tested and working.
Plenty of good configuration options and a well thought out interface made it all a walk in the park.

I am using BF Survey Pro for the new University of Professional Education in Flevoland, Netherlands. I needed survey software which would enable site visitors to rank a list of products/options according to their preference by dividing a total number of points over the individual options. BF Survey was an excellent solution: easy to use, and good email support from the Australian author of the software. Perhaps there is also other stuff out there which does the same, but the flexibility and ease of use of this software was all I needed. Great stuff!
I downloaded the free extension and I was up and running in no time at all. Even people who were not technical were making intelligent RSVPs.
Once I hit the limitation of the free version and their excitement resulted in complex surveys I could pull our credit card out fast enough.
This is a long overdue survey product that just made life much simpler.

Component is wonderful. It works well. Even if there are hiccups with few settings, the forum is helpful + the developer is good. Developer respond back for every questions.

This is a simple and easy to use survey creation product for your website that gives great looking results and features.
I followed the recommended advice to download the trial version first and got what I needed within minutes of installing. It's simple to set up, straight forward to use and easy to add to.
The developers have done all the hard work and taken away any hassles for us.
I purchased the full product the same day and there was a handy tool that imported all work I had done on trial, into my purchased version.
Tim at Tamlyn Creative also offered me top class support on a couple of simple questions I asked and I got the feeling from him that no question was too small. Response time was very fast and very helpful.

I'm using BF Survey Basic for a 'best of' community survey. The developer walked me through a few custom changes to make the plugin do exactly what I needed it to do. His response time was great, and all of the changes he suggested actually made it work better.

We Purchased the BF Survey and was very pleased with this extension.
Tim was extremely helpful in assisting us with making some changes to the survey such as the SAYG (Save As You Go) update. This proved to be very helpful in assuring accurate results.

I first tested the free version but was rapidly frustrated as the code is encrypted and you can adapt the php.
But I'm more than happy to have bought the Pro version. Excellent component, it does what it promises and as registered user, we also have a very good support from the developer(s)

I was looking for a standalone Survey/Feedback solution for a client and after trying most of the ones available I decided on BF Survey Pro.
Although it is not designed to be a standalone product with the fantastic support from it's developer Tim I was able to make it just that and now I have a very nicely packaged product AND a very very happy client as a result.
Some drawbacks are that in order to achieve this several hacks needed to be made to core Joomla files, however this was minimal and easy to keep track of should the need arise to upgrade either Joomla or BF Survey Pro component.
The component is very feature rich and easy to use with very few limitations. It's basically everything you could possibly ask for from a survey component including a graphical statistics overview of responses in both admin AND front!!

We are using BF Survey Pro to conduct customer satisfaction surveys in-house. I was so impressed with the easy-to-use interface of this BF Survey Pro that I downloaded the trial version of BF Quiz and that component has proven to be equally impressive. But then I got a clue to the fantastic support when I received, by e-mail, a detailed notice that the software had been updated - with the update attached!
When I ran into problems after I had launched the survey, the developer's response was amazing. Tim found the problem (leading spaces between the response and the radio buttons), fixed the code to accommodate the spaces, fully explained the fix, and rescued my survey.
This is a great extension and the support is a credit to the Joomla community!

We had to decide between this component and surveymonkey (outside of our joomla site). This little component proved to have the flexibility and reliability to allow us to do surveys on our joomla site and not rely on the monkey. Feature-rich, easy-to-use, clear documentation, extemely helpful / responsive developer, timely updates incorporating user feedback, ...it is an awesome survey component!
I was honestly surprised that there were not more survey components. But it does not matter, because this was is more than I could ask for!
Note: I am now using the pro version. I highly recommend it. It is well worth the small fee.
