Editor's Note
- This extension requires registration to download.
The application has 4 types of questions: pick one, pick many, short answer and a ranking question.
You can set an expiration date and customize the final text message.
And generate reports in the back-end when you have the info gathered.
The AJAX driven user interface is really great. Allows you to deliver multi-page surveys using only a small screen real estate. Users are not scared off by long forms.
A background image for each survey can be assigned, plus images and full html can be used in the body of each question. There are 4 question types which seems adequate for me.
This extension is J1.5 native, contradictory to other reviews posted here.
The major drawback WAS that non-registered guests could not access the surveys, but I fixed that with a minor hack to three php files. The changed files are posted in the developer's forum.
On the surface it seems that multiple questions on a single page are not possible, but you can use the "Ranking" style question to create a drop-down list of answers/responses that must be exclusively matched to multiple questions. That is adequate for my purposes. Besides, I think that one-question-at-a-time is a great approach for online surveys (can't look ahead). By comparison, such AJAX powered surveys would be a pain in the rear to build using a form generator.
Best of all, its FREE. A big Thank-You to the developers.

the component works fine, at least it looks like. however, as already commented, lack of voting unless the visitor is registered is a big turn-off for this component. in my webpage i need no registration. why do i need to force ppl to register when i need their help from a survey?? in addition, imho, a native joomla 1.5 version shoull be issued.
Its an excellent component does what it says! just wanted to ask can I display multiple question in a single page, If so how?
It is simple but great. It also works nicely. The only issue i had was that the survey is only visible for registered users only.
