This is very nice component for any professional website which deal with client/member. Easy to use and can integration with Jcomment/CB/JS - flexible.
But the biggest point was missing in Pro version: don't have auto report email system send to Admin when website has new suggestion. The soul of this component is the communicate between Support Team and User. It has option for member but non for administrator. We really need this feature!!!
Also if member can add HTML text/picture instead for just plaint text will be perfect.
Hopefully we have next update soon. 4 stars for now.

I wanted to use this extension but I just got so annoyed with the pop-ups on your site. Also, the link to the 'demo' version isnt'really the right landing page...I have to still click 2 or 3 times to see what I was promised: the testimonials and reviews.

Hi. I don't understand what you are referring to in your commment/review. I do not have any pop ups what so ever on http://beeheard.cmstactics.com. Also, the demo link directs you to the BeeHeard component directly as you can see from the URL that it contains controller=categories which is part of the component but I have SEF URLs so you see the following: http://beeheard.cmstactics.com/demo?controller=categories&category_id=13.

The product user interface looks good, but support is slow to respond. When provided with bug reports, the vendor becomes confrontational and is quick to try and blame other component vendors. When he eventually looked into the reported problems and found that his component doesn't allows only a small number of suggestions per category under the newer versions of PHP, he refunded our money to avoid having to correct the problem.
Excellent alternative to "User's Voice" service. Same principles but you have total control on parameters and total integration into your website! BeeHeard is ,for me, a must have.

I was looking for something like UserVoice but I didn't want to pay $20/month and I wanted it to run on the client's site (not a 3rd party). This component does exactly what I needed and is much cheaper (use if forever for the same price as 2 months of uservoice). Installation was a breeze. Very easy to use. I had it installed, configured, and running within minutes and then made a few simple css changes to match the website's color scheme.
One potential "issue" is that the database is configured to allow a maximum of 255 characters for descriptions and comments. You can change the allowed length within the component, but if you want to allow more than 255 characters you will need to make the change in the database as well. I submitted this question on the developer's forum and had instructions to make the (simple) changes within hours!

This is a superb Feedback component + module that works like a charm!
It is worth every cent and easy to set up (watch out to enable the suggestion feature with each category ;) and it is a very great way to interact with your users and constantly impove your site or service with help of the community!
Everyone who knows UserVoice: this is the Joomla native alternative with NO monthly fees!

BeeHeard is a really good alternative to uservoice.com, especially if you want to build your own feedback site. Many things have been well thought out. There are good possibilities for the setting. Some things could be further developed (eg free defines form fields, attachment allowed) - then this component has great potential. The contact (support) is very good (fast and nice). He has helped me to make the component fit for German language. Great!
