JF Crowd ComponentLanguage

JFCrowd allows a webmaster to get an impartial review of their website from the general public. It uses Amazon's Mechanical Turk to programatically create work item requests (known as HIT's, Human Intelligence Tasks) to the Turk workers to evaluate the requested website. The workers then submit their responses, and JFCrowd returns the responses to the requesting website for review.

JFCrowd is installed via the normal Joomla! installation process. The webmaster then creates a HIT by specifying some general descriptive information and a set of questions. The webmaster then pays for the HIT via PayPal. The amount paid is based on the amount of assignments (individual website reviews) desired.

An assignment can be 'rejected' by the requesting webmaster. This will result in the creation of an additional assignment.

JFCrowd has an SMS (text message) capability. After installation, the webmaster can set the Component Parameter to send him/herself a text message upon the completion of an individual assignment or after all of the assignments are returned and the HIT is ready for review.
