* MosNewsWriter is a newsflash module to display content title as hyper link with 4 different styles and many customizable parameters as outline below.
Features:
* Show newsflash from multiple contents or categories from articles
* Show newsflash from RSS feed
* Enhance RSS parser to better handle feed that moved or behind proxy.
* Display order in Ordering, modified desc, created desc or Random (make the flash more interesting!)
* Set number of newsflash to display
* Four different styles to choose: TypeWriter, Flash, Marquee, GH.
* moduleclass_sfx so that you can customize the look of the module
* Borders to set a border width
* Text color to set the color of your link
* Background color to set the color of the newsflash background
* Height to set the height of the newsflash
* Text Length to set the limit of the title length to avoid over run
* Delay of the newsflash
* Pre-text for "typewriter" style to hightlight your newsflash
* Direction for marquee setting: up, down, right and left
* Scroll amount to set how many line to scroll
* Enhance to run as many instances on the same page.

Easy installation and simple to use. Most newsflash modules only allow for certain categories or sections to show. With this module you van select any article regardless of it's category. This makes it very flexible. You can also add your own CSS to it. Also the developer is very responsive and even wrote a new version for me the same day , after I raised a question about functionality.Nice module. Keep up the good work !

Thank you so much for your kind review and I appreciated.
Very responsive developer - added a sort by created date within a couple of days of a post requesting the feature on the support forum. The module itself is simple to use, and produces a teletype style display, much like the one used on the BBC News website - which is what my client was asking for.
I only came across this by accident, as I was looking for something like this module in the 'News Tickers and Scrollers' category, but then, I'm not really sure what the difference is between that and 'Newsflash' anyway.
That said, I'd heartily recommend this module and its developer. My one remaining suggestion would be for the selection of section and category to be via a drop-down menu, as it's a bit of a pain having to navigate away from the module to find out the ID numbers.

The reason for enter the ID is you will have more flexibility of multiple ID to enter. By drop down you only limit to just one selection.

Thanks for the feedback and please check out the latest version which has many new enhancements.
I couldn't figure out what GH style was or what it did, and the height setting or text length setting did either.
Could just be my template.
But it's a nice subtle way of attracting your site visitor's eye.

GH is for one of the customer site that he want this specific way to show so I tailor made it for him.
