OpenSource AJAX Recommend allows visitors to recommend your site to their friends by e-mail.
Using AJAX technology, the whole process is performed without need for page refresh, making it very quick and user friendly.
OpenSource AJAX Recommend is powered by MooTools, a Javascript Library, which is needed for the ajax functionality and for the form validation. MooTools is the same library that Joomla uses, therefore ther is no need to include a lot of files and the result is a very light weight module.
It is compatible with Joom!Fish and languages that requires non-English characters like ( Â,É,Ì,Õ,Ü ...).

I use this great module with Joomla! 1.5. It has all features you need for simple recommendations. Very good explanations for the numerous options in the modul-settings and highly customizable. Excellent support (if you have any problems, post it in the forum an the admin will help you till it is solved (regardless how long it takes)!
Downloaded this mod and had it running in minutes, had 1 problem with the language file but after contacting the support team got it all working 100%.
Great support and a great module would recommend this to anyone.
I will be going back have a look at there other great extensions they have to offer.

I have downloaded the module and had it working within 1 minute.
Afterwards I had some question regarding some additional functionality. I did receive a complete new module (a complete remake!!), fully configurable, with lots of extended functionality, completely fulfilling my requirements, within 24 hours!!!
Douglas is a very friendly and helpful developer. Whenever I had questions or problems I have always received instant response and solutions.
This is a good example of why it is worth sometimes to purchase an extension!!

At first I had some problem, it had some ereor mesage so i sent my troubleshot to developer.Until Mr Machado had been fixed my bugs.

I wanted to use a refer-a-script on my joomla site and the one I used for other websites wouldn't work. Looking in this extensions directory I found this recommend solution.
I like that you can tell it which menus to appear in and that it includes a very easy to understand Captcha system. It's using simple easy to read math questions and not hard to decipher crazy graphics.
Not only is the script great, but support is also excellent. I had a few questions and they were answered very FAST.
