We have been using this product since it launched. We now use this for all our clients that want a newsletter campaign component. Mailchimp is the top Newsletter company out there and it is now integrated in to Joomla. Very clean and usable interface. Top notch!

These guys came out of nowhere to give us a free MailChimp bridge, and amazing support to boot!
Alex's team came to my rescue in a matter of hours and helped me solve my issue (apparently my issue of forgetting to delete old plugins).
The component looks great on the back-end and works with JomSocial out of the box. Check it out!

This is an excellent component to say the least. It is the best, to my opinion, joomla intergration I have ever experienced. These developers did a great job.
I've previously reviewed the Campaign Monitor version of Joomailer which continues to be fantastic. However I'd had a client who was already on Mailchimp so when I heard the freakedout guys were doing a new integration, I was over the moon.
I got to see some of the early testing of this component as the guys knew I was already a heavy user - full disclosure, I wound up doing the interface style. The functionality is pure freakedout.
This integration is everything you could want out of a newsletter management tool for Joomla. Full integration through Mailchimp's extensive API (which is more feature-packed than CM) plus integration with both the Joomla article system and K2 - I'm in heaven.
Those that know me realise I'm a big K2 fan, so the ability to repurpose existing articles for a newsletter by simply including them is just fantastic. Even better, you can choose to include only the intro-text and automatically include the 'readmore' link to the full article on the site. It's fantastic.
The reporting is also excellent, which is one of the most important aspects of email marketing for me.

I was an early beta subscriber to Joomailer, because it was a simplification for my clients. And I pushed for the MailChimp integration. Now, it's a complete solution, from the registration to list plugin that traps core, CB, and JomSocial registrations, to the ability to easily include Joomla content in newsletters. And the free MailChimp account helps smaller clients get started at no cost. This is the kind of solution that will keep Joomla ahead of the CMS pack.
What more can I say that the title doesn't! This integration is simply awesome. I purchased another MailChimp integration and it does not even scratch the surface of what this one does!!! If you work with Joomla and MailChimp you owe it to yourself to check this one out. Alexis and Pete have outdone themselves, oh did I mention the support it's simply beyond compare, seriously I'm not kidding. You guys should be charging for this - hint hint!!!
