iContact allows you to easily create, send, and track email newsletters, RSS feeds, surveys, and autoresponders.
JContact was recently awarded 2nd place in the official iContact API competition.
It doesnt work. I did everything that the tutorial says and cant get it work. Registered users wont show up in the icontact page.

I tried this out here are the cons:
1) was difficult to install, very little documentation on how to do so for a Joomla newbie.
2) was difficult to configure and the in-build wording is very confusing.
3) does not integrate with any information other than name and email-address hence cannot do segmentation with it.
4) does not allow for more than one mailing-list integration.
Further, iContact was no help either. Unless you have time to figure out how to configure this, and unless you are collecting no more than name and email-address without any mailing-lists, this extension is an absolute waste of time.
