By far the best extension ever, not just amongst the mailing ones. So easy, intuitive and great, multiple plugins, tepmplates and etc. the list of awesomness goes on! Thank You so much for all the work. As a developer I'd like to point out on teh correctness of the html, you don't even have to alter anything to customize it to your own needs, basic css does everything you'll need throw some js and you're all set!!!

I have been looking for a newsletter for 1.6 and this fits bill.
Easy to set up easy to understand walkthrough, lots of support.
Can't ask for anything better.

I tried many mass mailing options and finally tried this one. I'll take this one any day over the others in the extension list here. No complicated interfaces or several steps just to do a simple task. No need to get several mods and plugins just to do the basics.

This company offers onsite documentation, video tutorials and email support. Trust me when I tell you that this is rare. Many software developers say they offer support but when it comes time to getting it, you end up unattended in their support forums with all the rest of their unsatisfied costumers.

Try the Starter and see how clean and easy it to use. If you have a community site then you must get the get the Enterprise. The Enterprise has the ability to include modules and all kinds of other goodies and must-have tools. When I upgraded I did not have to reinstall and did not loose any of my work so that is another plus.

The staff is friendly, and quick to respond.

Installed the starter version of this extension and within an hour had a templated designed and the client's first newsletter sent out.

Two days after downloading the extension, I received an email from the developers asking how I liked it, if I had any problems with it or had any ideas (good or bad) to share with them.

As the president of a service orientated business, I find this level of support refreshing. Kudos to AcyMailing for a super product and great support.

I've just installed the starter edition for a client's new website. AcyMailing was very easy to install and configure and worked straight away.

The interface is well though out and the features in the free version are terrific.

I tried and used free version of AcyMailing. This really maybe the best Joomla component ever. Everything working very good, update is really usually, support very fast. Professional work from beginning to the end. Congratulation.

As a true newbie, I was trying to 'juggle' the difficult component Acesef with Acymailing Starter 1.7.0 under Joomla 1.5.21.

At first, I did not get things working properly together.

SInce Acesef is a good application but without good documentation, I searched the web and found the helpdesk of Acesef.

AWESOME!!!!! . Really thinking alongside, helpful far beyond expectations, reply almost on the spot even for someone with a Acymailing starter! They even looked and helped me with questions about the Acesef module for Acymailing. And the component is great too!! What can i say, if you aree looking for a superb newsletter application with people behind it who DO support you: REALLY, LOOK NO FURTHER!!!

I was married to Acajoom Free, but eventually I got bored its platform and that tends to fail by far the free version. Then I found AcyMailing and its platform is fantastic, easy, fast and more effective. I recommend this component eyes closed.
I use google apps with no problems and I did not move anything in the configuration that is pre-defined.

Allthough it has a good feature set, Acymailing is easy to manage. I especially like the template system, which makes it easy for me as a designer to create a template and also for the authors to add the content to a newsletter.
It's also easy to use on a multilingual site. And my experience with the support forum are as good as many of the earlier reviewers expressed.

I was looking for a simple component to send various categories of newsletter to various categories of (registered or not registered) users or subscribers. I had got considerable experience with other tools (not joomla based) such as the stand-alone tool "phplist". I find AcyMailing Starter amazingly rich of features. There is virtually nothing which you can do in phplist which AcyMailing Starter cannot do (let aside cron jobs for which a commercial version must be purchased from the authors). The difference is: managing the processes, setting up nice templates, importing addresses etc. is much, much easier with AcyMailing Starter. Everybody who has some experience with Joomla components will get along with it very, very easily without additional support. (And if support is needed anyway, there are helpful "help" texts on click away in each situation.) I have seldom seen such a perfect extension! I also like the three html newsletter templates that are included and which can be modified according to your needs quite comfortably.

Just what the DR ordered no more creating PDF Newsletters for me, no more hoping that my bulk emails get through. Very easy to set up, the on-line tutorials are excellent. Combining with other components just makes so easy. JCE is my editor and uploading images directly into my Newsletter really is straightforward. Makes my site look so much more professional. Hey, guys, really, I didn't expect.
I was about to open some kind of PDF-tutorial and was preparing to break my head...even got a special day to make your component to work...but it looked like someone did it in a second...from installation to the language auto configuration...like a charm.
Easy, beautiful, reliable.
One thing I'm worrying about is a ton of additional features I haven't even time to drill.
One more quick advice. Give some more templates, please! ;)

I have used the Acymailing Starter version as a way to "get a peek" at the tool for inclusion into subscription based site I am building. This site also used Community Builder. My experience has been with a commercial "stand-alone" tool (iContact), and this tool compares very well.

I have also had the opportunity to see how great the support is by having two questions about the CB plug-in turned into product in 24 hours. And this is for the free versions too! Based on my experiences so far, I will be upgrading to the Enterprise edition for my site.

If anyone is looking for a free solution or a commercial one, look no further than this extension. I downloaded the free one, got quick and free support when I got stocked. A big thank you to Adrien and the team. Acymailing is very intuitive and the codes are neat enough, I'm loving it...

I can't say enough about this extension. Not only is the feature-set great, but the support is second-to-none. John and the rest of the team listen to everyone's feature requests and are always willing to help out the little guys ;)

I tried different free solutions for sending newsletter to customers and this extension was came out to be the most comprehensive solution for this purpose.
Aside from its rich features, there are some series bugs including one which would easily make you a spammer. I know this is not a place for reporting bugs, but I am trying to express my experience using this extension. I will address these bugs on their support forum. here is a short list of bugs I found out:
1. when importing users and assigning them to a list, it is shown a wrong number for imported subscribed users.
2.When you want to send a newsletter to a defined list,it assumes that you want to send it to all users (no matter they are in list or not) and will ask you whether you want to send it again to previously sent users/lists (being careless in this step will lead to sending a newsletter double or triple or ... to a user)
3.I am not sure this is bug. There is a strange behavior on the process of sending mail.there is popup(lightbox) showing the process of sending.after a batch is send,a counter starts counting down the time set between batches, but during this count down the page was automatically refreshed and suddenly it starts running next batches.hopefully my list wasn't so long to mark me a flag for spamming.

After all,I want to thank the developers of this useful extension for providing such a great capabilities in this extension for free.
I hope they can fix those bug soon.

I've been using AcyMailing for several months after looking at many other mass mail systems and trying several (including commercial ones).

AcyMailing is hands down THE BEST!

The starter version is FREE and it's loaded with far more features than most commercial versions!

It's VERY customizable (e.g. making a template that matches your site, or several templates for different lists) and configurable (e.g. throttling according to your host's requirements). Some knowledge of HTML will help when customizing templates, but they give you some good tools to work with.

Some people will find that there's a "learning curve" figuring everything out. (Full disclosure - I didn't read much of the documentation; I'm a "hands on" type. They do have lots of documentation and tutorials, and include "Help" information on every page.) Let's face it: Mass mail customized to your particular needs takes some effort on your part. Believe me, the results are worth the effort.

It installs quickly and flawlessly - including updates.

Their service and support are awesome! When I first started using it, the unsubscribe page seemed confusing. I contacted them and they quickly sent a temporary fix; then included that in the next release. I recently requested a new feature - not knowing how hard it might be to implement. The staff quickly responded that it was a good feature to add and that they would do so. That was only a few days ago and it's in the new release today!

AcyMailing statistics are amazing! You can easily find out not only how many people opened your mail, but who and when. Where else can you get that kind of information without paying a hefty price?

AcyMailing Starter is PROFESSIONAL all the way (except you don't have to pay the professional price).

Just the ability to quickly and painlessly add a "join newsletter" form to my website was worth the very easy install. The templates are great and maintaining the newsletter list will be easier than ever thanks to ACY!
