I was looking for a newsletter and a smsinfo component. And Jnews is the only one to purpose extra field for registering form on the fly.

The installation was simple but I went in trouble with the validation process (it was my fault I registered the license for my local website) so I've been to the support page and I try the "Live support Chat" and then ... Whaou there was someone real !!! and very competant, in few minute everythings was right !

Since I use this component I'm really happy to discover new function and create newsletter in a breeze.

Really thank's !
Bye

Have been using Acajoom for over a year and just went to Jnews. I paid for the additional templates which makes it easier to change the look without too much extra time. Sends very well and looks good. Support has always been excellent and helpful.

Thus far I have purchased a number of Apps from the team at Joobi (JNews, JBounce, JLinks) and they all work extremely well!

The support team is also very helpful, especially "Cherryl"

Thank you Joobi!

What can i say the free version works a treat and support is second to none. It pretty much does what it says on the tin but more importantly it works for joomla 1.6 and is exceptionally stable. Please keep up the good work.

When it comes to a newsletter system easy to put in place when creating websites for clients Joobi has done an excellent job. The JNews Pro extension is by far the best Joomla Newsletter system out there.

Their support is excellent. They might not get to you right away or no the answer fast, but they stay with you through live chat support and walk you through what you are doing to make sure your issue is resolved.

We have two client websites that we have installed the JNews extension on> Very user friendly to train your client on how to do it. Great user interface. Alot of things are self explanatory, but if you get confused the live support will walk you through it step by step.

One of the things I like the most is the template is easy top make changes and adjust colors and codes to make your newsletter look the way you want it.

Easy to install and powerful to use. Good job Joobi.

I am creating an eNewsletter for my website. I'm hoping to increase my customer base with follow-up advertising.

I downloaded and installed both JNews and acyMailing.

JNews installed very easily and has a very nice look-n-feel to it.

I wish it came with more than one sample template.

I downloaded this to use on a demo site to showcase the websites I can build for area Fire Departments. The idea is to use it for them to be able to send both public and department only newsletters. The system installed perfectly with no trouble and worked perfect as well. I ran into a small issue with created a link to an archive of the public newsletters. Creating a normal link to jNews from the menu, produced the desired result for users not logged in, but when logged in, the same link would only take me to the page where I could configure my options on receiving the newsletters.

I went to the authors website and used their Live Support. The agent that assisted me was absolutely wonderful. They explained that I needed to simply create an external link to the archive directly and was even patient enough for me to do this and test it out. This method accomplished what I needed to do PERFECTLY!!

Excellent tool and Super Excellent Support.

We are building a website for a congress and need a powerful newsletter tool. jNews is great! It is well structured and has many options. I like the assistent that leeds you through your first steps.
What I like to see in furter releases is the ability that you can send a welcome message to new subscribers and that you have at least one nice newsletter template included also in this free version.
The support is fast and willing to help. I had an issue and we solved it quickliy together. (It was a bug of another component.)

I've used acajoom for a client's email blasts for a while but we decided to try jNews for a new client because we expected some time before we'd actually have to send one out. Much to our surprise we got an URGENT request and had a conflict between another plugin and jNews. Tech support was instantly available and super helpful to the point of actually going into the admin side of the site and hunting down the bug. We plan to upgrade to the pro version for this client and while I hope I don't have need to contact the support team any further I'm confidently upgrading with no fear of future bugs because of them.

I started using this after researching for a good reliable newsletter component. I decided to use it because I was a newbie. Didn´t know a lot of programming and technical stuff. I needed a module to register users for a newsletter and it was easy. Only trouble I had was with statistics, but Joobi team has been working on it. Joobi support was very helpful and very polite.

Last saturday I installed the JNews component, which looked much to my liking.

How ever after modifying it to my lay-out I tested it, there was an error which I tried to resolve myself, to no succes.

I went to look for help at www.joobi.co where I found a support live chat. Joobi really took the time to help me, guiding me trough every step all the way. Excellent support!

The product itself is great as well! It has a high level of depth.

The only little flaws I could find we're some HTML/CSS flaws, which were easily fixed!

Thank you for a great product and the great support!

This is a great component, not just because of how easy it is to create great looking newsletters but especially as it can queue emails so it works inside the limits on my host.

Beyond that, they have a great support system; I managed to break something which was entirely my fault, and Joobi's live support checked everything through, found what I'd broken, logged in and fixed it.

Top notch support!

I am an expert with PHPList and was a fan of it for years until I saw JNEWS. It is simple and very user friendly. With the issue on the installation I received excellent support and will from now on rather recommend this component before I use PHPList.
Great work

Hi there,
We have 2 sports sites and we need to reach all our teams and athlets often to communicate news and to keep in touch.

We decided to test some extention and after some test we went to Jnews, installed all steps were easy and clear, (we are italian, so sometimes some trouble to find out some meanings) and we were able to send our newsletter after few minutes.

Working on, after some days we had a little proble and we went ot the developer web site and we find a "buttom": Live Help.

In a click we were able to talk with support having the problem solved.

So what to say: extention is great workin, simple to manage and help is net the door.

Last the free version i sgreat and the developer policy is to help everyone not depending if is a paying costumer or not.

Thanks

Luca

JNews is easy to install and great working component. Today I had one problem because I want to redirect people to free download afer they leave thier emailadress. That was not working with my first try, however customer support was very responsive and fast. It was great and now its working as it should :-)
One thing would even better than it is now. Today I can set for every Module an URL redirect after pressing the submit button. But for all JNews modules I can create the email to the subscriber is the same. It would be great to have the ability to send differend emails depending to what newsletter a Person has subscibed.
Thanks!

I using jNewsletter for several years now and always had good experiences with the support. After my last experience with their very quick and helpful support (instantly, by chat), I decided to write this review, just because Joobi is doing an excellent job.

jNews does exactly what a newsletter should do. It manages the subscriptions and help me send my messages very easily. Sending an article from my website to 1000 adresses takes less than 30 minutes. Saves a lot of time!

Yes, of course jNews has some problems (as all fast developping software...): on my sites, the licence sometimes doesn't work anymore. The Joobi support fixes it in a few minutes. Same for upgrade issues (plugins didn't upgrade, etc.), support is always very kind and helpful.

Anyway: a happy customer who recommends this component!

Every website needs a way to communicate regularly with their clients, and jNews fits our requirements perfectly into all the websites we develop.

jNews Core (non-commerical) is ideal for providing essential functionality, whilst providing a good preview of our recommendation to upgrade to jNews Plus (for advanced templating features).
And best of all is that it simply upgrades "in-place" without having to uninstall-then-reinstall.

On the rare occasions we have issues/questions, their online support answers promptly and accurately... usually having the solution immediately ready.

The only negative comment that I have is a common one here... no notifications when updates are available.
Easily solved by a regular weekly check of the Joobi website.
