Well; as a seasoned pro, I have dealt with hundreds of extensions and the companies behind them. The sites that I usually develop involve detailed integration and custom tweaking. Accordingly, I often need to make urgent requests for assistance, and in some cases, inside info from the developer. Many are helpful; most are not so good. However, as a pro, I cannot give a higher recommendation than the guys at Joobi! Nothing is too much! They and fast, courteous and "go that extra yard". Many could learn from them. - Keep it up guys! a five star outfit.

I am a Joomla newbie at this point and I needed to update Jnews to be able to upload my own email newsletter templates. Their support team answered all of my questions and even logged into my admin panel to install items and verify that all was correct. Would recommend this company wholeheartedly.

My boss has installed jnews to manage our suscription lists easily, but let me the configuration tasks and translation process to me. Since I have the first translation problem, I start to feeling lost in the ocean of joomla files, falling again and again.

I contacted technical support to solve my problems and they help me the fast way. I don't knew that translating some parts of the module would be so easy.

The module does what it suppose to do, and do it like a champ... Right now my boss is a happy man thanks to me (and the technical support team of joobi, of course). Thanks guys!

I have used jNews for quite a while, it works very well. I have had a few issues to sort out but the live chat is always very helpful. They have gone an extra mile to go on my site and help make any needed adjustments.

I like this module. Installed for a client, and every problem I had with it was very well handled by the support team. I had to fix a problem in a meeting with one client, and they did the trick for me. Their support is incredible :) one has to admit, they do have the client in mind, free or paid... all treated the same: good. They're support become a reference for me.

By the way, my specific client loved the module and are very happy. And the best: it has virtue-mart integration :) so... newsletters with a link to the cart - very good business orientation

Well, I had a bad experience with jnews. I first installed the main program, which went smoothly. After that you get a message that the it has to be published. I dont know why they added this info, it might be because many users forget in genereal to publish their extensions and start bothering the support team! However, I published the extension. When I went back to their site to see if there were any plugins for jnews I saw about 8 plugins for jnews. I download all of them and istalled them with no problem. The problem started when I tried to publish them. I selected all jnews plugins, one after another and published them. At cron I got as an result a bad url page on my administrator site. I went to the website and it was gone, no website, no admin. I felt like the world had fallen on my head! I went into the domain site with ftp. But what to do ? where could I in heaven know how and what to reverse!! Good thing is the online help advised me just to delete all jnews folders, which I did. After that I got my site back. The support person said I did not need to install all the separate plugins as they are already included in the main extension. Pitty I couldnt smell that on my fingernails as noone else seemed to find it to mentioned somewhere and save me time and effort besides the horror feeling having lost the site for 2 hours!
Further more I tried to installed it a second time, I dont want anyone to say I didnt give it a second try. But as anyone can imagine, just by deleteing some folders it doesnt mean it is clean in the admin section. So as soon as the extension was installed the site went down again. I tried to take every single plugin in an unplublished state to see where the problem exactly was. I had no luck until today. For me this extension was a good lesson of being careful with every little bits and piece that suppose to help you make your site more interesting and richer in content. I think I will start from now on a second replicated site and do my testing all there. It takes more time but can save you some tears one day. My joomla version for the records is 1.6.4 with no language mods or anything that could mess up the extensions with eachother.

I really do not know what went wrong and I do not feel like wanting to loose more time on it.

My apology for the trouble that caused in your website. I would like to remind users to read the instructions properly in our download page. It is clearly stated that "ALL our plugins and modules are ALREADY included in each package and are automatically installed for the convenience of the user. If any reason you want to re-install a plugin or module, you may download it in the download page".

Regarding the module notification we made that for the convenience of the user, since for the module is necessary for subscription.

Some of those plugins are for Commercial versions and you had a free version that is why it created some issues.

We appreciate the feedback and are going to make sure you can't install module or plugins which are not suitable for the used components.

WOW !!! Download, install and ready to use. Everythink work fine and the Helpdesk (for a spezial question about the PRO Version) is fantastic. Newsletter sendout work perfect, frontend editing is easy to use.

I use JNews for the first time.
It has a lot of functionality and a is easy to fit to a page design.
But the best of the tool is the live support on the webpage. I recommend jnews for everyone!

The last year I tried different mailing components but I like Jnews the best. I had some trouble with my Jnews 5.02 version and after contacting support I received the new 7.2.2 version within 5 minutes...

I am a web developer who works with non-profit organizations in the USA. Joomla is a great solution because I can keep the cost of building a website down for worthy organizations that don't have a lot of extra $$. But for every non-profit, staying in constant communication with their constituency as of absolute importance. After trying several solutions I have found none that approaches the quality and functionality of JNews (and it's predecessor Acajoom) This is very robust software -- the features you receive for the price of the this application make it very well worth the investment. Once oriented (a couple of training sessions) my non-profit clients quickly become oriented using the software. And, for me, as a web site builder and maintenance provider the best feature is the ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL TECHNICAL SUPPORT -- ESPECIALY THE LIVE ONLINE SUPPORT. I have used it often and have never brought a problem they couldn't solve. I recommend this software without any equivocation whatsoever.

Being a bit of a novice and after installing Jnews Pro I wasn't sure how to correctly configure Jnews to match my server requirements. Due to me setting my configuration incorrectly I encountered some issues when sending a newsletter.
I also had some issues installing and importing my client's newsletters and lists from Acajoom.
I have been using Joomla extensions for 5 yrs and have sometimes waited days and even months for support but the online support team at Joobi were instantly and always available when I needed assistance. They helped me not only configure my newsletter settings correctly but helped me understand how it worked. I am so impressed with the way Jnews works and I can't wait to offer it to more of my clients.

Looking around all the E-newsletter components this was by far the best one.

Amazing customer service. Very quick with response, and getting custom templates made in under 24hrs!? unheard of!

i have to admit that this extension does its job !
And it does too in fact.
The only default i found out is that you can't wrtie a newletter without choose a template, neither a blank template. You always must choose a pre-install template.

The the whole other part of the extension is clearly excellent and easy to use. Even the statisitics informations are quietly good !
And by the way, it works perfectly with last joomla 1.5.23 !

I have used acajoom and jnews on many sites, with great success. Recently a client want to send to a 6000 subscriber list and I once again turned to jnews, buying the full pro version with bounceback control. Unfortunately do to server constraints the newsletter failed to send properly. Though it was no fault of their own, the joobi team refunded the full price of the component. Thanks Joobi, I will use the product again.

JNews is definitely the most complete Newsletter tool I have discovered till now. It is incredible what you can do with it.
