Well, this the 3rd component I have from foobla, and the product is working fine as said. Installed and up and running in mints. And I like the add-on option, as it open doors to any script or component I have to be integrated in obRSS.

But I am writing this review because I really like the support provided by the developers. Simply they fix, update and even do custom works to go with your site, in the same day!

I think the support is the most important thing when you run a site that must be 24/7 online. And the guys at foobla.com provide excellent support.

This is a powerful suite backed by motivated customer service. I especially like how it inserts thumbnails of the article into FaceBook etc. - very attractive.

After some problems after the installation, which was solved very quick by Thong, the Tool now works as expected with lots of options.

Previously I had bought a component from Foobla which is the Social Submit. From my experience with the quality of Foobla’s products I bought this component for RSS Feed about 6 months ago.

In my research in Joomla; I have tested most of Joomla components both on J 1.5 and J 1.7 and Foobla is among my top 3 Developers for Reliable Joomla products and outstanding Support.

Because of the qualities this product offers and the unique features it has, I decided to add this transparent review not just to say thank you to Foobla, but to also allow excellent products to stand out from the crowed.

I do believe I’m not in the business of recommending products, but I am an advocate of sharing experience.

Here are the elements for this REVIEW:

- A full evaluation of the extension:
I have bought this component with all of its plugins, internal and external ones. It is simply excellent. It works and delivers its purpose.
As Joomla 1.7 emerged, Foobla did accommodate it with a new release. However, there were some functions not fully explored such as Multilingual Support for the Multi-Menu system, and guess what! As soon as expressed my interest to have those function, a day later it was made on my live site and a new archive was issued including the new updates as a core release.
The nice thing about this component is the fact that gives you so many functionalities, whiter you want to have your RSS XML on your site, or sent via emails, or even to integrate with Feedburner. In fact, it does all of that and it integrates just about all of what you have installed in the backend.

- Ease of usage and deployment:
Nothing much, just install it through the backend, and then go the obRSS Control Panel. Once there, just add a new feed, and you are up and running in 1 minute. If you are sophisticated, you can configure various sections, and various categories. If you have CCK, you can integrate that in as well. If you think it is difficult, email them, I am sure they would be happy to do it for you!

- Level of support received:
The support is the best support I have seen, and is genuine. Sometimes you are answered within hours, and if not, next-day you get your support depending on location and time variance!. So they are really good compared to others.

- Courtesy and Honesty:
They are very decent team, who appreciates feedback!

- Pros & Cons of the extension and its performance:
The extension is really good, and I believe it the best one out there. I had inquired about having a plugin for a CCK I have, and they made it for me. After that plugin, the CCK developer released a new framework, and I contacted Foobla, they developed a plugin again, and sent to me within 4 days.

- Purpose of using the extension:
I use this extension to update other networks of our web updates and new items. Nice broadcasting to keep everyone everywhere well informed. I also have it emails those broadcast, so I am 360. Another unique feature is that the component has a frontend so you can subscribe using Feed Readers. This is one great product.

- Level of difficulty:
Not difficult at all, it is extremely easy.

This is the best money spent, and I truly recommend it to everyone. You do not just get the best RSS component; you get Foobla as your support.

This component does what it tells. We have a site with ZOO for our content, and it is by far the best way to build rss feeds. The support is great as well.

If you need to manage RSS feeds, this is the component needed.

I'm a user of joomla for a long time and in order to custom your RSS feeds, obRSS is what you need.

can't wait to make it work with Custom Properties.

I wasn't sure I needed this extension, but after using it I was quite pleased. I cam up with some issues (on y end) and support was very quick even working on it at 6pm at night.

If you need a RSS extension you don't have to look any farther than obRSS.

Simply the most sophisticated rss feeder. Well designed and professionally done, customizable with great features such as tags stripping, exclusion; provides granular control of feed content. Easily customizable to work with 3rd party components. Custom work meeting all requirements and delievred in matter of days, great to work with.

Before I bought this and it's accompanying Adsmanager plugin I sent the developers a question to ensure that it would do everything I needed it to as some of the details were a bit vague. They got back to me within a couple of hours so I then proceeded to purchase it for use on a clients website.

Unfortunately the component didn't work straight away and wouldn't create valid RSS URLs or copy across images. I once again contacted the devs who were more than happy to help and after giving them admin access to the site went into the back-end and fixed all the problems for me.

Overall product is pretty good but the support was superb.

I use obRSS for our new website and it´s amazing. Never seen a better Tool for our services as this one.
Even the support from obRSS ist very fast and competently.

I spent a few days looking for an rss component por my travel portal and finally i came accross obRSS. The management is very easy, great extensions handling and a lot of professional features. Support is very fast, i needed a custom addon for a non supported extension and it was ready in a few days!

obRSS simply the best!

It took my a while to find the right rss component that would fit my needs. Now I can say I fonw what I was looking for, and much more ;)

Great Component, with a alot of aditional addons. Yes it is a little on the high side pricewise, but you get much more than just another Jomla component. What you get ist outstanding support. I had some minor problems after the installation, those where fixed within the shortest period of time.

Also, I am using a rather "exotic" component and I also needed RSS for that one, no problem. For a very reasonable price you can get a working addon for almost anything you can come up with.

Thong was great to work with. Custom work was done within a few days, fast communication and followed up an extra request a few weeks later.

The component works perfectly under Joomla 1.5 as Joomla 1.6.

We needed a customization : obRSS will have to pick the keyword from the "keyword" field of articles's metedata. Foobla team answered to our needs perfectly and quickly (48 hours).

So, it's a great component with a great support ! It worth his price !

For a plugin that is so perfectly suited for your Joomla! site, its surprising that this amazing component has yet to be rendered part of the Joomla! core! While not without its quirks, obRSS is hands-down the best way to disseminate your content to the masses.
