Just what I wanted, thanks.
There is a minor code error on line 11 default.php that results in a call to www.mysite//modules/mod_smartbookmarker/images/bc_left.png (two backslash). Same for bc_right.png on line 12. Does not break anyything, but makes a mess when looking for broken links.

After browsing some 10+ similar plug in went for this one because of the most "complete" set of "destinations" and of the good styling. By itself, the widget is well-assembled and config is a breeze.
But, it's practically unsuitable for use in the usual intended capacity.
There appears to be no way to make the widget display as part (above / below) the article. The only positioning options are the usual - left, top, user# etc.
Normal "logical" expectation would be that a user would "digg" or "buzz" the article, not the site. As is, user is forced to scan the whole page, including columns and headers / footers to find this widget. Social bookmarks must be right next, usually, immediately bellow the article, where a reader would use them immediately after being done with the article.
To worsen the issue, positioning on right, or bottom (sydication, footer etc) guarantees that when the popup list shows up, it's off the screen. This pretty much forces one to have it on "left" or "top"-like areas. In non-fixed or column-less templates, this leaves practically no space to put this widget.
This thing might be absolutely gloriously done on the inside, but the presentation implementation completely missed the mark.

I can't upload the image. So you must try to install this plugin. Once installed you will notify that there is not, in the plugin activation panel, the code to insert the link in contents. I tryed to write a new article but the plugin button was not evident. The module works well but the plugin is too poor of information in the control panel. Ok you can choose the social network to share the content but I was not able to produce the link. So I went to the website of the producer and I noticed that there is not a very simple guide to activate the link in contents! There is nothing in the website to explain the insert method. There is a forum but it is not exaustive for something listed in this Extension Portal.
I installed Smart Bookmarker on a xhtml 1.0 transitional valid website, then got some validation errors. For those using this module and want their website code to remain W3C xhtml valid, make the following quick modifications to "default.php" (found in modules/mod_smartbookmarker/tmpl):
* near the top, remove the code starting with "top" (align="top"). No visible changes to the Smart Bookmarker style by using "top".
Doing these two tweaks will make your website xhtml valid again.

Very easy to install, finished installing very quick. Looks very clean on actual website.
I created a username/pw account just to review this extension because it's incredible. I've downloaded many, many extensions before but have never had such a wonderfully easy experience with an extension.
Installation is a breeze-- simply go to Extensions > Install. Then add the module under Extensions > Module Manager > New > Smart Bookmarker. You can choose which bookmarks you wish to add, page position you'd like the module to appear in, module class, and menu assignment.
So easy, a child could do it. Thank you 100x for this wonderful module!!! If you need bookmarks on your Joomla site, do yourself a favor and download this module.
