Sure more controls would be cool but for the easy and a quick fix for ss networking it is great and recognizable as I have other sites using other php programs that offer the similar star link to share.
Be nice to added into the Joomla default article pdf, print and email placement links.

I have the same response to the plugin as the author's module; it's easy to use and install, but you have minimal control over the placement and display. I need to be able to specify sections and categories. Hopefully down the road we'll see this become more robust.
