Simple, effective, lots of options, but easy to configure. As much or as little flexibility as you need!

I tried this product and it seems perfect! I tried to mix Arabic and Latin script and find some small issues. If the developer want to extend it in order to accept Arabic and other RTL scripts I will help him in the tests...
Also, is it possible to include the Hegri calender. This will let your solution to be The One.

Many Thanks!
Ara

This was really easy to install, I did notice that my date was out by one day and realised that in NZ I had to add +12 in the date offset.

Simple, Great, well designed, and it works !! I had installed a few date and time Modules, from others, but I wasn't satisfied. Nothing beats this one !! On a scale of 1 to 10 where 1 being very very Bad, and 10 being Excellent, I'd rate this module as a 10 **** EXCELLENT ***

Unfortunately, I have the same problem as reported by Dafydd on February 20, 2010. I'm using Javascript option, but my website displays only US Pacific time regardless of the user's time zone. I asked my friends in Chicago and in Germany to check on it to confirm.
Otherwise, this is a great module which serves my needs perfectly. Thank you!

After looking for a simple but powerfull module to display the local time without previously designed ugly styles, i came across this little mod. Simple looks and lots of options, if you want to display the time and date in a very simple way without those limitations such predesigned styles this is for you, very usefull if you have a non-engligh joomla and want to customize such items as day names, AM/PM, so on. Great! i'll use it with lot of my proyects!

After spending untold hours trying to get this to work properly on various sites I've given up! All formatting of pre and post text is lost every time you open the module for adjustments and has to be re-done. And no matter what I do the spacing between the w, day, month etc just turns into a bunch of unreadble symbols. This definitely need work on it. Nothing should be this hard! When I get some time I'm going to rewrite it.

This extension does exactly what it says it will do: show date and time. So if that's what you're after, this should be just fine.

Unfortunately for me, it only displays the date and time as is local to the server. What I was looking for, was an extension that displays date and time in the local time of each visitor. This doesn't do that, but if that's not an issue, then I can recommend it!

Unless I am misunderstanding I think you are mistaken. If you set it to use Javascript it will use the time of the client since Javascript is client side. If you set it to use PHP it will use the time on the server. I updated the manual to be more clear.
