Excelent tool if you want to display sortable table with data from your database on your web page!
* Search engine friendly (SEO)
On Table JX was made a great effort to be as much "search engine friendly" as possible. This functionality enables that records in a grid or table are indexed by search engines, like Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc... If you have some, let's say, products in a grid or table , search engine finds them easily. This could be a great benefit for your business.
* Linkable content
Linkable content enables that you just click on a value in a grid or table and this action opens specific URL or specific joomla Article, Category or even Section.
* Second order by
If you are not familiar with SQL or you just don't have time to create a sql view and show it in Table JX grid, you can in admin section with few clicks create a grid or table with data as you wish.
* Adjustable row height and column width
Well, really nothing specific to say here. If your data doesn't fit in your page you can adjust these two settings.
* User's specific data
Create filter to show user's specific data to the currently logged in user.
* Multilanguage support
* Ideal for
CRM, e-commerce, scientific data, real-time data, competition results, weather reports, database comparison, timetables etc.

Your extension is incredible!! I was looking for a way to do this for two days, when suddenly I accidentally stumbled on this. Great work!!
The only thing that would make it even more great is if there was a way to pull data from two tables at the same time, and put it into the same grid. But, maybe that would be too easy. Anyways, this is a fantastic extension!! 5 stars!!

This ajax product is very well designed, fast loading and pagination due to the ajax refresh of the table data.
For now, if you want to extract complicated data from your MySql, it's necessary to use phpMyAdmin to create views (with all the joins and group by you want).
For a next release, I would appreciate to be able to enter directly a query expression in place of only select a table or view... that would avoid the need to create a view.
Also, why not an editable grid? Think about using other GPL products like DHTMLX grid.

In the past I've used ChronoForms and ChronoConnectivity to allow users to enter data and then have it display in a table, but ChronoConnectivity isn't available for J1.7 yet. Table JX fills the gap nicely and had some surprising options, such as translating a field in my table into a custom URL.
I wish it had a little more documentation on the site, but my support questions sent via email were answered quickly and completely. Not that I had many questions...the admin interface is very straightforward and easy to understand.
I'll be using this again on other sites I'm sure.

It looks a useful tool,i think it is what i'm looking for, but before i purchase it i have a question..
Should all table relationships be in mySql or we can control that in Table Jx??

This tool helped me to build easily small information system that uses several joomla sites (stores) with data from one database. People can now log in and see only their data (e.g. product information, sales information, which products are out of stocks...) Now even better there is available release for joomla 1.6 - hope to see new features...
I've been looking at this extensions for years now and while it seems like an easy way to display data...the only thing that prevents me from actually purchasing and using this as part of my dev environment is it appears to lack the ability to print or export the data in the grids and I see no mention in the docs on the website of being able to perform table joins, etc...If these capabilities exist then it would be great of there were mention of it somewhere on the site...if not, it would be great of they were added

One little thing which would make this component even better is a possibility to set the alignment option for individual columns. To have my numerical data right aligned, I changed the style sheet but this currently affects all columns.

I realy love this extension because it simply does what is promisses.
I'm rather new to Joomla and not a php-coder and for me, it was quite easy to bring up external database content on my Joomla website!
The tool is very flexible, fast and reliable. Customization is also easy with the comprehensive interface.

I really like this component - once I got the syntax to use right, I got all the necessary queries running within seconds - and adjustments in terms of color, size of the displayed tables, too. Links are automatically included if needed, - there's not much room for improvement!
Support was more than timely and really, really helpful, worth the money many-fold.

This was easy to install into Joomla! and easy to setup and configure. The interface is was very intuitive.
You are presented with a drop down of all the tables in your joomla database. Once you select your table, you are then presented with a list of all the fields in the table.
You can easily customize the rows and headers to match your Joomla! site exactly.

This is a very good extension to display report data from SQL , first time I installed it , it didn't work because I was using PHP v.4 , then when I switched to PHP v5.x it was working Like a charm and I am very happy with what I get from this extension.
this extension is easy to install , very easy to configure and easy to use , it worth all the money I paid for , thanks to the developer .

This is the first commercial extension I have purchased but I did so based on the documentation that suggested the product would enable me to flexibly display data on my site that was housed in mysql tables.
I bought the software and installed it first time. Within a few minutes, I had my first table grid on my article page, complete with a search box and navigation controls.
Since installation I have raised some queries with the vendors and found the support available to be quick and very helpful.
Overall, I have been thoroughly impressed.

I am encountering standardization complexities that i didn't anticipate due me wanting to use this with other components, but that was for ease of use, and i guess that is to be expected with DB administration, but their support is good thus far.

First I want to say a "Good Work" to the developers who built this extension. It supports as it mentioned in the synopsis ONLY for MYSQL database. Either I don't know or tool doesn't support for ORACLE and other instances. I tried to dig into the code but its not user friendly in terms of connecting to oracle.
This will be great tool if you address the above and how to generate master detail pages.

This is not true. TableJX supports MySql, MySQLi, Oracle and MS-SQL databases. 2 weeks ago we also provided solution for MS-SQL server 2000, which doesn't support pagination.
On our page is also documentation how to set up environment on Linux or Windows (DB on local or remote servers).
We are always open to help with settings. If you still have problems, please send us mail that we can assist you.
Master-detail pages, that are linked with foreign keys are not supported yet (if there will be enough interest, we will also do that), but for small table, linkable content can be made manually.

Hi!
I've been trying to find simple ways to display data without the need for coding anything and this is as close as I've ever seen it. Since it runs off true databases, all it now lacks is the ability to filter the data by booleans (=, etc.), which shouldn't be so hard to implement.
When this extension can do this, it will be a dream come true for my project.
