The syntax is a little hard to understand and a forum search will show you that a few others ave had difficulty figuring out how to get it to work. After playing around i managed to get it working but have unfortunately come across an issue that has not had any resolution from its developers.
There's a time delay on the articles posted in a category as to when the Embed plugin displays them. Basically, i can create 3 articles but the Embed plugin can't display them as soon as they're published, instead it takes several hours.
The issue has been noted in the forum and there have been a couple of workarounds posted but i have had no such job in being able to fix the issue much to the advice of the community.
The developers state ""Just to make this clear (to others reading), this has been entered as a BUG in our development system and because this is a 'community supported' extension we do encourage the 'community' to offer potential solutions."
In a way its like creating an extension but only half completing it and then leaving the rest of the work to be done by the community.
Its a shame as it does exactly what i need, i just have to wait for a few hours before the articles load.
And yes, a simple work around would be to set the create/publish date/time to earlier but not an ideal solution.
Thanks for the review. We resolved this in version 1.7.0
Cheers!
But It would be nice to rewrite it table-less and standard-compliant.
It installed just fine, but I've not been able to use it.
Questions that are answered on the website simply supply a link to the cryptic documentation...many with more specific questions about the installation go completely unanswered.
It's too bad, because I've been looking for a couple of days for what this appears to do.
Did you happen to look here:

Seems hard to believe you could have missed the 'concrete examples' at the top of the page....
