These files are stored on a user's private directory and this once logged in can view these files, delete them or download them at any time.
The plugin is very configurable and has many administrative parameters.
Usage

You can use only the default bbcode {upload} or overwrite your parameters every time you use the plugin in different pages, the syntax must be:
{upload | extensions | maxfilesize | email recipient | destiny folder}
For example if you want to use another plugin for upload only flv files with no more than 2048kb and put them on a "videos/username" folder, you can use this syntax:
{upload | flv | 2048 | john@mail.comEsta dirección electrónica esta protegida contra spam bots. Necesita activar JavaScript para visualizarla | videos}
Note: version 1.2.0 uses Bootstrap.

Hi, your extension might be very useful for my need, but I wonder if you guys could tell me what is suppose to appear after the tittle "Tasks", and how I use it.

Hi, thanks for the five starts... the tasks section only shows messages like success, warning or error while upload is on process.
I appreciate that getting through the Spanish may be difficult for some, but there is an option to translate the site into english in the top right hand side - anyway you can use google to translate the page so this shouldnt be a deal breaker.
you need toregister a subscription to be able to download ALL of their software - i email support and received a reply within minutes
you can set the filetypes for this plug in to whatever you want bu setting the MIME option in the admin panel (doc, docx, ppt, pptx etc) and it works like a dream.
For my particular site i didnt want to be emailed every time a docuement is uploaded but support emailed me a fix for this (it will be optional in future releases)

This was almost exactly what I was looking for. It allows registered users to be able to upload and download files and located in a central module and/or page. The problem... what I've noticed is that the only person that can see the uploaded file(s) with the ability to download them is the same user that originally uploaded. I see no way to share the visibility and download right to other reg. users. Am I missing something or is this how the extension works?

Yes, that is how it works, every user can view and download his own files beacause very user have his unique folder.
I agree the Spanish was a little difficult to wade thru, considering I don't know the language but the plug-in itself is exactly what I was looking for. A few CSS tweaks and I had it integrated with Jom Social with private downloads areas for individual users. Plus It automatically monitors the user directory so you can add files directly to the server.
The other review makes this look great. After going to the website and seeing it in Spanish only I had a hard time finding it at all. Not sure how to obtain this either. 3 click rule not on this website. So this is more of a review on the product website. I will look elsewhere for a upload solution. Too bad it looked promising.

when a user creates an account, automatic he will receive a folder on server with his name. There he can upload things, and the admin or who has access to FTP can download or upload files ONLY for this user.
But the user can see those files in front end..isnt it great?
He can manage his files (delete, view, edit, download).
So User1 never will see what files has User2, and viceversa.
I've been looking for such a long time a private thing like this.
And the price is not huge at all!!!!!
I strongly recommend this plugin..
